I played this a few times on the PS1 when I was 5. Only remembered the intro which was burned in my mind due to guy watching TV died and the worlds surface was covered in flesh color, and the gameplay vaguely. Didn't remember the name at all, but for the longest time I wanted to discover the name of this game so I can look back on it. I thought all hope was lost until I saw the last parts of featured PS1 games. So relieved that I learned what the heck kind of game this was again..
Are we soulmates? I was honestly shocked when I (just now) discovered that it was rated for teens lol I was scared of canned drinks thanks to the intro
This game terrified me when i was a kid. The uncanny FMVs. The gross visuals. The loadscreen with the mouths. The goddamn loud ass spiders. Everything about it was a 90's kid nightmare
Reviews for this game at the time said "the game is bad because its brown everywhere", so glad games today aren't like that. Call of duty? Never heard of it.
Did you Know?, Blam! Machine Head was inexplicably rated K-A (Kids to Adults, the mid-90's equivalent to the Everyone rating) despite its cutscenes featuring a heavy of violent and sexual content (the first 20 seconds of the opening feature a man being turned into chunky salsa while the ending has the villain's head being blown off by a pistol, with bits of his head flying toward the screen). The actual gameplay is more tame, largely owing to the early PS1/Saturn-era primitive 3D, but still features enough graphic violence against organic beings that T rating would've probably been more fitting. In comparison, the same developer's far more tame Tomb Raider, which was released a month later, was rated T.
I remember having a few £££ in my pocket and went with a friend after school to Electronics Boutique. I was determined to bring home something to play that day and my choices were small. He convinced me this was my best choice out of the cheapest games in the store. I think i was taking too long and he wanted to get the hell out of the shop. I think it was 6 pounds used at the time in 1997. He was into drugs at the time and didnt really care and had othet business at the time in that part of town. The next day i was like "thanks alot man...that game was fucking shit" and he admittedly made a face like he knew he had no idea about Blam Machine head. I was 12 years old.
Weird Game. I played this game on Sega Saturn and the control was very hard. What happen to the Town? Virus or Cures or what? And what happen to the Scientist at the end? (I have watch the ending)
Lol one of my first videogames. No idea what to do, where to go, what the task is. Just drive around forever shooting things with no reason to anything
Hey, where can i get this game for pc? where did u get it and how did u make it work? please do tell. I played it as a kid and i want to do it again. :)
btw I gave this game another chance by playing it, its not that bad, I mean its pretty bad, but at least its kinda playable, and I always thought the chick on the cover looked exactly like that blonde girl from my name is earl lol whats her name? jaime pressly or something? a quick google search finds no connection of her to this game but I'm about 99% sure she was the inspiration for the artwork, now whether she knew about it or not and not got paid for it? well thats another story lol and where is this "blam" coming from? my game on the cover it just says "Machine Head", is blam like the japanese or european version or something? cuz it looks like the exact same game
Sorry, my bad. I have found it, but not on Emuparadise. I thought they have all games. Blam! is a nice game and makes a lot of fun on my JXD s7800b. P E A C E

From the creators of Tomb Raider
Fantastic game. Loved all Core design games back then. Guaranteed pure action. Alas, a time before companies got greedy. Great video.
Would like some cosmetics dlc with that comment? Just 12.99

How did this game get away with a T rating anyway ! Honesty in my opinion this game should have been rated M.
Just played it on my 20 year old ps1. tough until you get the hang of the controls. I hate the inverted vertical. Loved the music
I love how a scientist is called "The Geek" when like...aren't most scientists?
Man the music to this game was the shit.
This game had the funkiest disco music lol
Yeah on satuen it had it
After reading the comments, I thought I was the only one afraid to play this game as a kid. Ngl I still have the same feelings now LOL.
Those clown enemies with the flamethrowers that appear during Meadows of Deception ( Level 14) used to scare me.
This game gave me fucking nightmares
this game was so goooood!
I'd never played this game, so awesome game.
Looks interesting, but the title bothers me^^ Blam! Machinehead is like calling Street Fight "Kappow! Street Fighter".
Funny you say that, it was Halo's working title name.
(The Blam! part, that is)
I remember this on a sagurn Saturn demo with some techno
Borrowed from a friend once. Hardly got anywhere and rewatching this I am still lost as hell

They could have done this with Stephen Hawking if he were put into military training.
