those spiders at 5:45 traumatized me as a kid, because one of them decided to drop down from the ceiling right between the player and the camera. Because the spider was literally right in front of the camera it looked like a giant spider. Never before had I been jumpscared so badly, and after that I never would play that part of the game again
This game was fantastic, but very hard! I always see this as an underrated gem for the PS1, such a classic! I'm glad I trade my copy of Heart of Darkness for this one back in the day :)
i tried to replay it and honestly the controls are way to jaggy. They take the fun completly out of the game. You are right, the controls were the only reason this game was hard. But this game has a really unique feeling and flair. I immediatly felt the same when i was a child :D
the thing with this game is, u need to have played it back then. this game has for me some special vibes which i can not even describe. its about how the controls felt, the sturdy faces, the music and ambients and not beeing able to ssee so far. special mix which hits nostalgia hard if you played it back then. recently i played that game again on emulator and i need to say its still a good game, it was nearly the same expierence as playing "the hobbit" again. both still great games, still very enjoyable but u need to get used to the controls. this is for sure harder if you never played them. for me the controls were also hard to get into but i didnt played it with original controller. these controls were never that "good".. but back then we were used to that and i also think an original controller would make a huge difference.

My childhood! :) Awesome game!
pretty sure I saw this game in a magazine once, looked pretty dang fun
also thought it was the titus fox
What a beautiful looking game. The visuals make me want to complete it despite the controls.

Now a game called TUNIC is coming out in 2020 which may be good to keep an eye at. ( which brought me here actually)
Banjo Kazooie for PSX i missed this one..looks great!
This game should really get an HD remaster.
It's not the same but check out Tunic. It reminds me of this a little bit.
Watching this made me realize that the controls were a torture...
I think the Fox says adorable to have his own s e r i e s
Yes, I have heard about this, Matt...
I’m glad I’m not the only one who came from Matt’s video
I feel like the reason this game was hard is that the controls were pretty bad. The turning was hard, and swift juggling was borderline impossible.

This is pretty great
I never played this game before but it looks interesting next to the legend of Zelda and Banjo Kazooie
Hidden gem
I've never seen this before. I'm 54. I like the idea of it but I'd have to play with the music OFF
Quiero llorar
