Cycles of pain/misery. Been trying deep breathing techniques but nothing helps the burps. I might get a croaky whimper of release every now and then but no major release. The discomfort all seems to be Upper GI Tract led and driven by the inability to pass wind at the top after I swallow food so that the air pressure follows downwards. Unfortunately this has a knock on effect to the rest of my guts and my main Crohn’s symptom was not being able to fart either due to the inflammation in my bowel so I am one big ball of contracted gas. The breathing thing is the worst. Scary. Does any of this sound familiar? I am due to have a Barium Swallow X-Ray and Endoscopy in next fortnight. Praying that these tests will pick up R-CPD. All my symptoms match the main 4.
I can not burp. I have never been able to. Instead a sound is happening in my throat, air wants to escape but it can't. Instead I am nauseas, I get tired and I sometimes have e very slimey saliva. It is not fun. It happens when I drink pop. It is like you have to throw up but you can't.
I always get this feeling like I need to burp and this pressure builds up and I kind of release it but it isn’t a burp and the air doesn’t actually escape, I don’t even know if that makes sense. I know I swallow fine, but I can't burp, it is incredibly frustrating to advance and then go back because nobody believes that I have this, I have been told it is Globus but the symptoms stated as globus are not my symptoms, but croaking awkwardly, being bloated, air vomiting and so on is a typical thing, I am desperate to find someone who will listen

I wonder if magnesium supplementation would help. Magnesium deficiency is very widespread, and our muscles (most likely including the sphincter involved) must have magnesium to physically relax. They can't relax without magnesium. Just something for people to consider trying.
@@mesazead473 really, went to this facility last year to solve my issues . Only choice is to try again or supposed more permanent choice other than the Botox . Must pay everything again which cost me a thousand or two after all insurance which they don’t pay Botox so you are forced to pay that in advance as well.
The only way I’ve ever been able to burp is when I have a STRONG urge to throw up. Like I have to push it to the limit and hope I don’t end up actually spewing everywhere. I’ve only done it about 4 times though twice on purpose. Hope this helps anyone else with this bullshit.
In a sense, the concept is close! Sometimes the inability to burp doesn’t affect people’s day to day activites. They can go their whole lives without burping and feel fine. Others-and the ones you normally see describing their symptoms online-have EXTREME daily misery from excessive bloating, social anxiety, and regular discomfort. The sad part is that many doctors laugh their pain off or dismiss it as something else. Fortunately the treatment is becoming more and more recognized and available to people who want relief from their symptoms.

I can not burp. I have never been able to. Instead a sound is happening in my throat, air wants to escape but it can't. Instead I am nauseas, I get tired and I sometimes have e very slimey saliva. It is not fun. It happens when I drink pop. It is like you have to throw up but you can't.
HA! I KNEW I HAD SOMETHING AND I WASN'T JUST WEIRD! OFF TO GET SOME BOTOX IN MY THROAT ASAP!
I cannot drink beer, because i cannot burp, and all the gas will stuck inside my belly and its very uncomfortable
Sameee
@@marissaprado5347 did you consult any doctor?
I always get this feeling like I need to burp and this pressure builds up and I kind of release it but it isn’t a burp and the air doesn’t actually escape, I don’t even know if that makes sense. I also suffer with really bad reflux which started last year when I drank a fizzy drink really fast but I’ve never been able to burp
Could you please tell us the treatment?
Help mer
Getting Botox in the sphincter in your throat that prevents you from burping.
i feel miserable because of this in every party i go to
Hi I am going through the same thing I was thinking of trying Mylaanta for the time being. Hope you get the help you need
I have all of the symptoms, plus nausea, and I also have to activate my gag reflex to release in the noisiest Belch that is painful and I feel like I threw up, just air, it gets worse if I drink liquids, and of course I have to avoid anything with gas, I am desperate because, in my country everytime I get tests done for the cricofaringe, I swallow fine, and I am tired of telling the doctors that it is the retrograde function!
Just keep practicing and eventually you can do it. Not perfect but does kind of work
Whew thank you Jesus for this
Hey interviewer, let the doctor finish talking before you RUDELY interrupt!
I have this! I get my botox end of summer! I hope it will work for me
Is it just me or does this look a lot older than the post date 🤔
03:00 what the Dr. said exactly ?
"Find very often they can continue to burp. About 4 out of 5 such patients burp indefinitely with one" ~then she cuts him off~ (presumably he meant to say with only one treatment)
I cant burp so i watched this but i burped when jimmy neutron's mom appear
How can I find this doctor I need his help
Google Bastian Voice Institute!
I did experience it for over 5years now.. all i did was drinking hot water... It's really uncomfortable and annoying everytime i felt and wanted to burp
How do I fix I’m stuck
Are you better now?
I can’t burp and have no flatulence. It’s so severely painful.
How to get rid of it at home?
I wonder if magnesium supplementation would help. Magnesium deficiency is very widespread, and our muscles (most likely including the sphincter involved) must have magnesium to physically relax. They can't relax without magnesium. Just something for people to consider trying.
Has anyone else with this problem find a correlation with their inability to belch and successful bowel movements
I do.
My burp gets stuck and then comes back . doctors said it's acidity .I'm confused .anyone know what's this
Every time I burp my stomach just makes weird noises
I've had the f-ing Botox treatment 2 months ago... Still can't burp. F-me. Really. Need to go back for fase 2 in 2023. Literally 😭.
Had it done a year ago , did not work for me
Really?
Did they refund?
@@mesazead473 really, went to this facility last year to solve my issues . Only choice is to try again or supposed more permanent choice other than the Botox . Must pay everything again which cost me a thousand or two after all insurance which they don’t pay Botox so you are forced to pay that in advance as well.
@@NoCoastPride oh okay... thank you for you quick answer.
I will also get botox soon hope it will work im scared now

Bro hurry tf up my stomach is killing me
Didn't teach anything. So stress here with my burp stuck almost one hour.😢
The only way I’ve ever been able to burp is when I have a STRONG urge to throw up. Like I have to push it to the limit and hope I don’t end up actually spewing everywhere. I’ve only done it about 4 times though twice on purpose. Hope this helps anyone else with this bullshit.
My, my sister and my dad have never been able to burp. He always described it as a "dysfunctional burp flap". I guess that's not far off. Haha
I have told soooo many doctors I can’t burp enough they always say I have heartburn! I’m showing my next doctor this vid!
I can drink a full sprite and not burp.. Fat flex ngl
Unless I drink fluids very slowly I get that issue where I can't burp.
lol severe daily misery? Is that what i've lived with my whole life xD
Why are you bragging about it?
@@rune8583 Sorry but i really don't understand what you're talking about lol.
Ever since I got pregnant it’s so difficult for me to burp. I hope once I give birth this goes away.

You ever got hiccups?
I was able to maintain a straight face until he said "extreme flatulence." Then I lost it and died from laughing too hard.
Hahaha, it gets interesting discussing taboo topics in a professional setting. I have heard before someone describe their flatulence as “a leaf blower stuck up my rear end”.
Farts 😂💨
I just had the procedure done a couple weeks ago in Colorado. Botox injection down the throat. It has worked wonders and have been able to burp for the first time in my entire life. Its an incredible feeling.
So glad to hear of your relief! Don’t forget to continue training your burps while the botox lasts. =)
