I'm still trying to figure out how to use the Cousin as a work/life planner. So far, I have been mainly using the Monthly and Weekly layouts. The Daily is still in working progress. I see others use it as a journal (that is not me), which is still in progress with Cousin. I do love their paper.
I use a blank B6 notebook and draw in horizontal 5-day weeks (with an extra column that I use for notes). I track my time there because I charge to various projects, and put to do lists at the bottom. The back has notes for specific requests and checklists for processes I do regularly
I feel there is great use for BOTH of those planners depending on how and what you are planning. For me the Hobonichi A5 Cousin is the best for my planning needs, wants and desires lol! I also use a Hobinichi Weeks and a Traveler's Company planner as well (different planners for different needs!) Good luck with your Cousin! I love mine to the end of the world and back again!!
I’m new in the planner world.. the cousin is fabulous. One great thing about it is that it can be folded in half and the binding stays together. Also, I use fountain pens so the quality of the paper is key.. I love that this planner can be used artistically as well as more traditionally. I’m so into how it can be bent around.
Interesting video. I was trying to see other peoples POV of Hobonichi vs Common planner and came across your video. I might suggest you turn the music down a little in the background if you have to have it playing while you talk. I found it hard to concentrate or hear what you were saying at times. It's just a friendly suggestion you seem to have a good energy for RUclips it would be a shame if we couldn't feel that because you drowned it out.

I ended swapping from the Sterling ink A5 common planner back to the hobo cousin. I couldn’t deal with the weekly columns not being there anymore
