OFC, but a small child would struggle to understand “wacky” and slightly more sophisticated humor. I saw the original “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and had no idea it was a comedy...try watching that film and taking nearly every minute seriously...VERY confusing!! 😂😂
Ive never been to any rides that this safety video was featured on, but i gotta applaud the amount of mixed media and effort that went into just a safety video. I know that this is also partially "lost media" so great find!
I... kinda don't even see what's so massively terrifying about this, just looks like slightly insane 90s wacky LSD mashup animation. Definitely a stylistic blast from the past even though I've never seen it before.
Amazing how you finally posted up this preshow. I remember seeing this before seeing SpongeBob 4D at the AdventureDome Theme Park in Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas back in 2007. And that already had me scared of the ride before even going on.
The moving theater recently closed and now it's a "Photo Studio" attraction, RIP 4D Theater...you left me with some amazing memories throughout your service life!
I remember seeing this at the Adventure Dome before the SpongeBob ride! I remember being terrified of it as a kid. I had almost completely forgotten about it until seeing a post about it yesterday. Thank you for uploading this!
Fr I used to think that a guy in a full body cast was gonna emerge from the ceiling of my hotel room. I couldn't sleep I once slept in the hallway because of it. The animation of the whole video alarmed me so much
Yes that's terrified me as well IMAX theater in the adventure dome at Circus Circus in Las Vegas and everytime I get on the SpongeBob ride I would dread watching this
My partner grew up in Vegas, and I showed it to her just now. She confirms that, in her experience of visiting the Adventure Dome and just as an OP on /r/TOMT said, this video was played in an empty waiting room on a singular TV.
Oh my god thank you! I found the entire lost media rabbit hole and remembered this playing at the start of the experience at Six Flags Great Adventure for the Dinosaur experience thing, Air force one(something to do with breaking the sound barrier), and the spongebob one. The seats and everything moved around and just before going into your row this video would play on the tv's just outside of the automatic opening doors. Geez what a strange trip down memory lane. Thank you for this. (Now actually finding the dinosaur, and air force sound barrier imax 4D videos is proving to be hard.)
this is so nostalgic man as a teen i went to the adventuredome alot and rode the spongebob ride from time to time just to mess around i remember seeing this with my buddies like what the fuck is this 😂 god i miss those days
When I'm eight years old, I saw the preshow before seeing Happy Feet Mumble's Wild Ride at the AdventureDome Theme Park in the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas back in 2015.

Im kinda surprised that this was lost media (i think) i remember seeing it on something like this in toronto at the CN tower it was played on small tv screens while waiting for the ride, i saw up to 1:35 of it. Edit: It wasnt for the spongebob 4d movie, but a diffrent one where it shows a first person view of a log being chopped up in a sawmill and there were little airhoses under the seat.

@@alexgeorge501 for me it's actually at the Adventure Dome las Vegas they'll play this while you're waiting to get in the ride. My favorite imax ride was called the Fun house Express

The only one of these that are left is located in the “extreme ride theater” at Adventuredome in Las Vegas. I tried recording it with my phone while I was there but this is way better quality. Thank you
I remember this one, Me and my mum went to Science Museum in South Kensington and I went on simulator ride called SpongeBob SquarePants 4D back in 2008.
Amazing find! Shame about the quality but how rare is this to even find in the first place? Definitely worth it. All that's missing now is the vid that played on repeat when this one wasn't, with like the constantly spinning IMAX logo in different animation styles.
I can see how a kid could be scared of this considering its being shown in a dark room and the video is really jittery and fast, as a person with a kid hyper-stimulating videos and sounds scares my son so I imagine op just felt the same thing
the ride isn't really as it was before in adventure dome its practically empty most of the time it's surprising to think that it's still being played after more than a decade
The motion vehicle is mounted on a orthogonal motion base, the vehicle doesn't tilt, instead, it would move up and down, and roll back and forward and side to side
saw all of these at the ride film in Niagara Falls. I would love to be able to find the actual films for sale, especially the piano one. (I think it was a piano)
Not as scary as that reddit guy made it out to be, but it definitely would have scared me as a kid so i cant say anything lol

Very interesting we found it just hiding in plain sight it’s pretty cool
not as scary as they said it was but its pretty damn cool
Oh wow this feels verrrry familiar but I can't place where exactly I remember it from. Glad the mystery has been solved!
one wonders when this was made, feels VERY 90s but i cant be 100% sure
Wow, that's a really busy video. I'd have had sensory overload from it if i'd seen it as a kid.
That was the greatest psa I’ve ever seen
this is actually really awesome looking!
Tbh don’t see why a kid would find it that scary but then again i grew up watching and loving crashbox 😅

So weird jerky movement a video made it unnerving in a warming I used to be afraid of the guy in full body cast
