WHO ELSE remembers riding this at PLAYDIUM in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada!?!?!?!?!? I rode it like 3 times in a row and got so sick but loved it. The seats moving was really done truly felt like we were flying through mainframe.
My Dad had a hand in creating this ride film as a modeller and animator. The model that impressed the team was the statue of Bob vs. Megabyte near the end of the ride.
@@mirrorman95 I just learned about this ride from a screening at the Rio Theatre of the 1st two episodes of the new Reboot:Rewind Documentary! They even showed 8 minutes of the recovered & digitized video!
I think I may have been one of the last in Ontario to see this live... whomever recorded this AND shared it did God's work. If only the second ride had the same treatment
@hankforeman91 already informed me in the comment he made 6 days ago. The trick now is finding a D1 tape player so they can convert the footage to digital.
1:56 "Give up! you are surrounded, release the encryption-drive-unit or be destroyed" 2:02 "Hero time again...quick, in here! Dot!" "Remote window on, follow me if you wanna live!" "Next stop...Oblivion!"
I never knew this existed... I didnt even play the game :( Though I thing I was able to lay a hand on the PS game once.. Never actualy got to play it :( Can someone play it and record it?
Laila Honestly, except for the cutscenes, it wasn't that great a game. Everything was all 90s low-poly, the maneuverability sucked without cheat codes, and even with them it was mediocre. The only thing that made the game any good was Mainframe's new scene renders and Tony Jay's amazing voice acting, as well as Bob Buckley's ReBoot music tracks and the origin story for Hack, Slash, and Scuzzy. Since it's been out of print for a dozen years, I don't think anyone would sue you for downloading the game and running it on PCSX-R or ePSXe.

Hell to the yes :D I wish they would bring this back for a day.
I'm re-watching this today after hearing Mississauga Playdium is closing down for good. This ride was taken offline years ago though.
Yes! Took my little brother there a few times, we were both big ReBoot fans and had a blast!
Literally the only memory I have of my trip to playdium as an 8 year old.
Playdium Burnaby and Circus Circus Las Vegas.
I went to Playdium in Mississauga all the time as a kid and rode this probably 15-20 times. Still more fun than any rollercoaster I've ever been on.
I do remember riding this a long time ago at Circus Circus Las Vegas. I rode this at least 5 times
This brought back memories of my friend's birthday party at Playdium. I used up all my credit on this ride. It was worth it!

Wow 😮
Actually, it looks more like gigabyte
Good news, the original master tape for that ride along with the rest of the show has been found safely in Mainframe’s archives!
That sounds great! I'm surprised Mainframe had any such archives left after Catherine Winder was through with it.

@@mortiferamorphasmus I wish they were screening it in my neck of the woods.
@@mirrorman95 It goes public Sept 29th on Apple Tv I think
Wow, how did I not see this for ten years?! There's so much new details and location in Mainframe! I love every second!

Wow, looks like this was a lot of fun! Reminds me of the Hanna Barbera ride at Universal Studios Orlando back in the 90's - Thanks for the video!!!
Man, looking at this makes me wish Mainframe in the show had as much detail.
They just found master tapes of the ride footage 🙏

@@mirrorman95 It was found in Germany!
Wish we'd see this and ride 2 in 720p48 format. Or 720p50 format
OMG! I rode this at Circus Circus in Las Vegas! It must have been around 2002
Motion ride at an amusement part in Vegas. I was one of the lucky few who got to experience this…

I loved this as a kid, but it’ll probably make me sick, now.😂
I wonder what it would be like if this ride had 4D effects (besides the moving seats, obviously). Wind, water, lighting, etc.
I bet with modern tech and VR, this could be redone into that media for everyone think about it, watching this on your Vr headset
😢 sad that history forgotten
That did not age well, search ReBoot Rewind episode 5
Alphanumeric!
Windows XP: The Ride
My mom got whiplash from this ride, but I loved it lol

It's Janyse Jaud.
I meant that it kinda reminded me of Debi Derryberry
