    Hi, Thank you very much for the tax declaration video. I want to do the deductions of double accomodation, but in the online declaration system, which part do I need to fill in? Is it the "Bilagor" (attachment) or "Ändra (change)" section? In the "Bilagor", I can fill in T1 attachment with the total amount of money that I want to deduct. And in the "Ändra", I also can choose 2.3 to fill in the total amount of money that I want to deduct. I just got confused about this part, where do I need to fill in? Is there a place that I can explain how I calculate this deduction (like meals of the first month, rent for the accomodation, and train tickets)? And do I need to upload the reciept of ticket etc. to this online system?

    • @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown
      @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown  4 месяца назад

      You dont need to upload any receipts- you add your expenses in 2.3 and explain in section 17 which is for “other information”, thanks.

    one question - suppose i have a global income but i never send those money from that other country to Sweden. then, What's the point on paying tax on that money?

    • @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown
      @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown  Год назад

      Point is u must pay taxes either in sweden or in ur home country against ur income…if u r already paying taxes in ur home country then u will not be taxed in sweden ( coz of double taxation treaty but might need to pay tax difference ) … but if u r not paying taxes in ur home country since u dont stay thr anymore n u r also not paying taxes in Sweden also since u never got that money here then government ( either countries) can consider this as u r avoiding taxes on ur income….

    Hi, Can you share your thoughts on this question :-
    1) I invest in NPS (National Pension Scheme) in India - does that qualify as Pension Insurance for which I need to compute the Tax Base and report the same in Section 9.2 ?
    2) For Endowment Policies which I had purchased in India in 2018 for them the 'Capital Base' would be the 'Sum Assured at the time of Buying the Policy' or 'Market Value of that Policy on 1st January 2022' ?
    3) Endowment Policies are to be reporting in Section 9.1, right ?

    Hi. Would you know how the final tax calculations is going to be if you started employment in Sweden in Oct, i.e., you were not Sweden for the most part of the year.

    • @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown
      @Pranalee-NewGirl-inTown  8 месяцев назад +1

      The day you arrive in sweden, you became a tax resident here! So your employer is already deducting the tax applicable for you. You shall get the tax statement for the year 2023 around march 2024 to be filled by May 2nd of 2024 via Skatteverket. Enrol urself for a digital mailbox to receive the digital copy of the statement

      Off-topic… am still trying to find more info online and I haven’t asked Migrations yet but I am going to my home country for the Christmas holidays but before my official “vacation leaves”, I intend to “work from home” for a few days in my home country. Is that allowed? Am home by 10th Dec and intend to work 11-15 Dec.

      @estlazo all employers have their own policy on working from foreign land. You can check about it with your HR, as it creates a complication for taxes but your duration is very small so it shouldn’t be a issue. You can refer the below link from taxation perspective.

      You need to have your own account to receive money!
      You can read more here, you can also register your home country account(agin it should be in your name)

    Hi, Good Informative Video.
    I got few questions :-
    1) if I am Invested in Mutual Funds in India from my NRO Bank account, do I need to show that Investment in Swedish Tax return ?
    2) I transferred Funds into NRE Bank account from Sweden and Invested in the Fixed Deposit, but that deposit is not yet Matured so no Gain is realized yet. Do I need to declare that investment in FY2022 Tax Declaration in Sweden ?
    3) I do file Tax return in India. So do I pay Tax on all my NRO Bank Account Interest earned with India Tax Authorities. Do I need still need to provide that information in Section 7.1 on Swedish Tax Declaration ?
    4) Your video mentioned 'K4' form. Can you share a link to that form.
    This information could be useful to lot of other viewers also.

      1. If you have booked profits/realized gains then you need to show it in your swedish tax declaration.
      2. No!
      3. Yes, but you need to mention(section 18) that you have already paid taxes in India and then you shall be entitled to pay residual tax, if any!
