Rose note:
After months and months of re-writing this song I can finally present "Mastermind" the culmination of all of my thoughts of THH put into one song. In Trust I promised a 5th chapter song but the 5th chapter was the most dry thing I had EVER played so I couldn't get my head around anything in it. It doesn't help that I cannot stand Aoi anymore like she is the literal worst. Give me 70 Hiyoko's over her x.x
Also after months I finally settled a lot of the stuff with putting Mastermind on Spotify so all songs except "innocent" (which its instrumental was sold before I could buy it) will be streaming on Spotify as of June 19th. Strength, Weakness and Trust will be streaming in all their glory and I hope you enjoy!
#Danganronpa THH - final thoughts
I remember THH with rose tinted glasses but its flaws show for sure after playing through it again. That being said I did love the ability to go back through and enjoy the times I shared with those characters all those years ago.. it's crazy that DR: THH is like 10 years old at this point. I played this game when I was so much younger at the suggestion of Pyrrhickong and now I am writing songs about it and it has stuck with me so much. Crazy honestly.

You know what I love no matter how that trial went junko still won the world was already destroyed and no matter who won that trial that would stay the same
This song is incredible! I've ended the first game less than hour ago and I'm certain that I'll buy others. Concept of game based on contrast between hope and despair is well executed. There is also no boredom in game because when exciting plot isn't developing player can developing relationships with interesting characters.
Your song is so gloomy and thus it matches Junko, who was so twisted that she has obsession on despare. The lyrics about her are so accurate, but I loved the most two: "Jacks and Jills is punishment time." as so clever reference to Toko's second personality and that long "I'll always be your mastermind" at the end as both sentimental farewell with player and traumatic memory for survaving characters.

Also it's worth noting that the "jacks and Jill's" line is also a reference to another song from the mastermind album I made so it's also a call back to a song from YEARS ago
