Massive thank you to those already supporting me on the AT regardless of how- financially, following along, sharing, and commenting! 💗
10% of YT earnings this year will go back to trail orgs like the ATC, PCTC, and the CDTC 🌲🏔️✨ Thank you for your support and encouragement! Let’s get outside and into the mountains together 💞
I must say, I don’t even like hiking… but I like Stella positivity, it helps me to feel happier to start my day 😊😊
“I’m going to show up and do the hard thing” what a great quote
Keep it up Stella. You're doing great! Enjoy!!
God Bless u, Stella Hikes.
WOW Stella spectacular views!!! Glad they had a room for you. Your doing soooooo good!
Whoa, Stella! What a day! 🚶🏽♀️👍🏻🙂
Epic day and a beauty on top 🎉
Thank you for showing so much of the trail! Most videos I've seen of Connecticut make it look pretty flat and kind of uninteresting, but I can see that's not the case! I'm in awe of your perseverance. I could not hike an additional 3miles into town or until 10 o'clock at night! Glad you made it to the hotel and that there was a room available! :)
All the way to Connecticut before your first bear! Fantastic views!
You are definitely a bad ass. Just doing those 4 mountains is tough. You did 30+. And at night. Glad you had views on Mt. Race. You are doing an amazing job. I hope you take the 2 nights, you deserve it.
Stella, you are amazing! From bears, to river crossings, multiple summits and hiking through a marsh and a town at night, you had quite a day full of adventure and challenges. You made it!
Wow!
I’ve watched about 30 AT hikers
And u are the most miles per day.
You go girl
Stella!!! Those were some tough miles you did! Well done! You are in Mass! And the worst of Mass is over! Greylock is a breeze!!! Great job!!!
this river portion looks a lot like the allegheny front trail!
You're one of the strongest and most capable hikers that I've ever had the opportunity to share an adventure with. But this hike is for you. I'd hate to see your adventure end, but this is your hike and do what's best for your heart and your body and your mind. You are more than just a video personality. You are a real person. Take care of yourself!🧡🌸
Congrats on 12K followers, well deserved!
Lovely views ! Thanks 🙂🙏
10:43 pm…you never cease to amaze…what an athlete!
How lucky you are! Some day I will be there too! Great work! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Well done Stella 👏👏.
This will probably be a day you never forget.
I understand the, "I just want to be done," feeling. You are ready to be done but you still want to hike. Would love to assist a fellow thru hiker, when you get to N.H. if you need anything, let me know. planning on doing trail magic in July but you'll be well passed by then.
Don't over work your body. Take a zero and enjoy your surroundings. You only live once. 😊😊❤❤
Oh my gosh! You deserve your zeroes after this hike! Well done! Happy zeroes! 😊
The river was pretty. It's good to put out there your thoughts and what you are thinking. It's not easy everyday. Keep going Stella🌻
You are awesome!
"Happy Trails to You"... 🎶🎶
Glad you made it safely. What a day! 28 AT miles + 3 !!! ... and a nose bleed. Staying 2 nights sounds good. You clearly are doing the hard stuff
Loved Bear Mountain, the Ridges, and Sage Ravines on my thru hike last year. Huge day of hiking on some difficult terrain. Enjoy your well earned zero!!!
You keep talking about taking zero but then walk 28+3! Incredible day, tenacious 🤠
This is getting expensive. I'm just jealous. STELLA RULES. 👍👊🇺🇲😁
Showing up and doing the hard thing is great advice for all of us. Thanks Stella
Thanks Stella, you make my day. Love the views and all your effort to go the distance.
Stella you are so wise. I’m glad you talked about the mental realities of being on trail, especially since you are so impressive with all the miles and make everything look easy. You are inspiring me to get out and start hiking more often!
That is so true!
Love the cabin, what a great place to stop and rest. Stay safe out there. Happy trails to you!!
That was a brutal day! Good you rewarded yourself with a huge bed in Quality Inn….such a size contrast with Jenny’s cabin…:-). Congratulations on 31 miles…and taking time to share your experience.
I was thinking the same thing about the little house. I could live in it! Wow. One full month and no zero. You are really rockin it. You do what you want.
To help you cure your hiker blues, both New Hampshire and Maine are some of the more interesting states on the AT. Lots of big mountains and views in New Hampshire. Maine has an incredible variety of lakes, bogs, mountains, rivers, and wildlife.
That’s crazy! Thanks for always making sure you have your videos posted, no matter how tired you are.
The bear was really cute. Glad that your ok from the noise bleed. And that you made it to the hotel ok. Have a restful night and a beautiful sunrise tomorrow, great hiking onward to Katahadin 👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂
The thought of being able to do the best your body and mind can allow, must be truly
exilerating . . . I can certainly understand your excitement for the journey. You are going to love upper New England! Hike on, my most excellent thru-hiker . . .
Stay Healthy.
Great mileage! That cabin was so cute. Glad you made it to the Quality Inn where you could be comfortable, charge up and have meals. You're really doing great! You'll get to Katahdin!
I think I would want to hike the AT in less than 120 days ..only because I think the day-in-day-out of boredom would drive me CRAZY.
I know myself and this is the #1 reason why it ain't going to happen for me. I could see doing a couple weeks max, which I've done. Perfectly happy to watch others do it while I do my day-hikes. There's a bike "race" across American and one guy said he quit because he ran out of things to think about, that makes perfect sense to me.
Welcome to Massachusetts.... When you cross the bridge over rte 90, aka, mass Pike. Take a few minutes of video.
Sorry you got a case of the blahs. Know this: your best hiking is just ahead of you! The AT in New England is spectacular!
Wow . Amazing You need a zero for sure. Epic :)
I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your day or days off! When you're talking into the camera, I can't tell if you're trying to convince yourself or us it's okay to take 1 or 2 zeros. Well, I'll tell you, you just take as many as you want because you have definitely earned them!
I would totally live in that cabin you stayed at. 😊 Good lord Stella, you never cease to amaze me. You are such a strong hiker! Your grit and determination is second to none. Of course, you'll have days of feeling 'over it'. The great thing is that you feel it, and process it in a healthy and expeditious manner. ❤ Get some rest you hiking beast! ✌️
Wow! You are one "tough cookie"!
I think it is totally normal to get tired & maybe a bit bored of the same grind every day.
Hike on! ❤
You are the bravest young lady that I know of. You definitely need to take a rest and let your little body recharge. Stay safe and Happy Hiking ⛺️🥾💞
How can we find Jenny's Cabin? Is there a contact phone number? Did the bear ever look up and notice you? Thanks for taking us along on your journey!
Glad you got your joy back through the beauty of nature!
Hugs!
Wow! That was an adventure! You are a brave, tough cookie! I love it. A bear sighting...that was cool! You had a LOT jam packed into one day. Please continue to be safe out there.
Beautiful views on this day for sure. I hope your thru hiker's funk clears. You have so many more gorgeous views to experience in the Whites & Maine!
hey i hope you love massachusetts. please vist the north wilcox shelter
Don’t wear yourself out, girl. Everyone has their limits!
In the midst of all this you crossed into Massachusetts. It will be great to wake up in a town tomorrow.
What happened with the bear? Did he see you?
Some pretty views, but you are even prettier. I bet you slept well . Best wishes .
Your personal discipline is admirable. But it is fully understandable that your feeling "done". You have nothing to prove. We all see your strength and perseverance. Finish up , find your joy where you can. Plan your post-hike life while you're out there. I really enjoy watching your journey.
31 miles… up and down mountains… that’s some absolutely amazing determination to not sleep under your tarp.
not a fan of night hiking especially last 3 miles on a road ...but hike your own hike they say
Very enjoyable video today, Stella. It’s been an interesting journey for me to follow this hiking season, so thank you in advance. As a great grandma I usually follow the older crowd or single male travelers. As I get older and living alone, I find myself saying “too many words” out loud for other hiker videos😂
Yours always seem interesting and just about right for this old girl!
Garmin watch would give you a trophy icon for new record😃I give you trophy smiles instead
Wicked awesome update. A bear and some night hiking and that was a sweet cabin you stayed in, Patty agrees. Have fun and a sunny day on Franconia Ridge and the Garfield are worth the wait if you can. Although the weather can change sort of quick. Franconia is my fav MT. Lafayette ect: I'm heading home through there this morning on the yellow blaze. It was 34° this morning in the Mt. Washington valley 60s later today.🌲👋
Those field coming into Salisbury are pretty famous around here. I do trail magic just before Great Barrington and thought I might see you this morning. Now that I see the trees this looks like a few weeks ago! Hike on!
I also stayed in that cabin last year during my thru-hike and then did the road walk into Great Barrington. Unfortunately, I developed shin problems along the way and had to take two unplanned days off at the quality inn. You’re slaying it, best of luck with the rest of your hike.
You're strong, looking good and most likely happy to hit the bed (lol). Hope you have or had a good sleep. Some of those views look like paintings. Beautiful! Thank you for the vid.
If you keep going at this pace you will hit snow in the Whites. Take some time off!!!
I get it! Month after month for 6-9+? months. No way I could do it. You are awesome.
If I remember correctly you probably walked past a rock that looked like a big thumb around where you saw the bear.what a great day you had.thats a lot of walking for 1 day.
When you factor in her videos are uploaded 7-10 days later this is nothing short of amazing considering her start date
Yep, she’s moving along. I took a bit longer in my hike. I found a trail family that I absolutely fell in love with and we were all not in a huge hurry. We hit all the views and towns and just absorbed all the AT had to offer. I came back the next year to do it again and immediately found myself in a much faster group and we went way faster. If you have the opportunity, I’d recommend doing the trail once slow and once fast.
I just said the same thing! It's incredible. She will be finished in less than a month probably.
I always add ~ 200 miles for a rough approximation of where she might be now and even that may be conservative
Yes, from memory, Stella was about #364 to start the trail.
@@toejamr1 Wow! You did it twice.
First, Hydrate! Next, thanks for the dramatic views. Especially, the night hike. Great achievement for the day. Well done! And, the brook babbles, the trees rustle, the birds chirp, the butterfly flutters, the bear lumbers. We think we are in solitude. But, often, nature speaks to us quietly, with gentle meaning that we are not alone. 90% of success is showing up. The other 10% is following up. You are on your way! Lastly, Hydrate! Be well. Wishing you fair weather ahead. Happy Trails!
I know you upload these approx 2 wks later so I'm guessing you're probably in New Hampshire by now. Maybe even Maine? You're killing it!
yeah, I always add 200 miles to estimate where she's at and that's probably conservative. Ramdino's reporting lots of mud in Vermont (even closing the trails for damage???) and snow on Washington so she's dealing with that now or in a few days.
@@TheJhtlag Actually, VT is fine. Great weather and the trails are not too bad….
I hear a stream beside you. I wish you would show more of the trail now you show it lol
You may slow down a bit in New England. Not trying to burst your bubble. The terrain is a lot different here. Especially the White Mountains.
Yup keep showing up each day😅
That is a really cute cabin. Thanks for not going all the way up on that pile of rocks. Didn't look very safe. Love when you show the river shots. Glad you didn't try to film while crossing those slick river rocks, though. Lots of pretty views today. Not a fan of night hiking, little scary. Yes, you need to reward yourself with a zero!
like Julie Andrews at 18:20 lin 'The Sound of Music".. lol
You sound tired, take care of yourself!
Boy...you must be in New Hampshire by now....
Sleep in Stella…rest a bit. Zzzzzzzzz
You're gonna love New Hampshire - not going to get 'the blues' up there. Stay positive. Lighten up on yourself - it's not a race to the finish and hiking is not a competitive pastime. Sometimes you just have to play the hand you're dealt.
Stella, have you ever considered voice-over work? I easily envision your voice in a Disney animated movie👏👏👏
Supporting you all the way.
Venmo @Stella-Blashock Stella, take care, stay well, and enjoy the trail.
have a pleasant day.
