Right up until you realize the reason why they have that many Gosling's is because they stole most of those goslings from all the other younger pairs in the area! I'm sure Mother Nature seems nice and neat and friendly to people in their cities but she's a cold hearted bitch who doesn't give a shit about anyone or anythings feelings !

@@deannelson9565 Wrong. Canada geese are known to ADOPT other families goslings. Geese are very intelligent and very social, highly developed sentient creatures with complex feelings and emotions. Nature is NOT a cold hearted b*tch as you describe it.

@@CS-zn4bu just know this your what's known as stupid! So here's how it works in the actual real world ....adult geese don't just give up their brood to another pair they fight like hell to keep them but when your 2 years old and their 15 they kick your ass. See I actually work with these geese and have since the giant Canada Goose was reintroduced in my fucking yard nearly 40 years ago! When they got here there were literally only about a thousand of them left they had just been taken off the extinction list where they had been for almost 15 years. I watched Goose behavior all my life and they absolutely steal the hell out of younger pairs Gosling's that's how you end up with one pair with 30 fuzzballs.

This pair has adopted all the goslings in the area.

    • @deannelson9565

They did not adopt them the kidnapped them. This a very common thing with Canada's where you have multiple breeding pairs on one small body of water. Older pairs will steal the goslings from the younger pairs in their area and raise them in one group.

No they're just big and the kidnapping! Very common in Canada geese especially with old adult pairs to steal the babies of younger pairs in the area.
