    I understand where the guy at 26:28 comes from. But Unreal is following a very different business model from what Apple does. Apple doesn't pay developers depending on "playtime". With the exception of Apple Arcade, and they don't disclose the deals they have with developers running on Arcade. Unreal is way more transparent than Apple will ever be.
    I'm an Apple dev, just to clarify biases. Though I gotta say that I'm getting tired of Apple's takeover and hyper-charging everybody.

      Another point of comparison, Valve gives a 25% cut to people that make skins for CSGO and DOTA, making content within Fortnite seems much more similar to the skin situation than being a store front. A developer has a choice to use UEFN, UE5, Unity, Godot, or any other game engine, Epic isn't even pushing developers to UEFN. But with Apple/Google, it's not much of a choice.
