I was surprised about how this guitar sounds, and how super playable this neck is. If I compare this to my 1993 standard (which is modified with 50s wiring, 57s pickups, ABR Bridge, ...), the old '93 workhorse unfortunately looses the race ;-/ and finishes my places behind... I can´t believe, that there are such differencies between the specs of the 90s vs. the 50s
Great playing!!! thanks for the great review and the amazing videos you post I had the chance to try one of these LP50’s with the MHS pickups... wow really amazing! Anyone try it that way? Any thoughts..!?
Idk why but every time I go into a guitar store, guitar center etc the fender custom shop guitar’s fretboard are always extremely dry. And the custom shop behind him look dry too
Playing acoustic guitar for many years, all electric guitar necks feel skinny to me. The 1957 les paul neck profile seems like the fattest les paul neck to me. The 57 neck seems fatter than the 56 gold top neck. Anyway les paul necks feel nice in my hand and I don’t have giant hands.
I bought a Gibson 50’s Goldtop with P90 pickups just like this one in February. It’s a lot more guitar than I expected it to be.
That's good to hear! I'm ordering mine next week!
those p90s are fantastic
great guitar! I agree, the neck profiles on the 2019 models are just right.

Thank you for that info about the neck, its what I was wanting to know. Now it's between a GoldTop or a Cherry Sunburst. Thanks for Your Demo
these are super nice

I understand that the cavity on the back, for the pick up selector, is full of old misshapen peanuts and a few stuffed olives. is this true?
How much weight is it?

Thanks for watching our video. Our room is humidity controlled, so the fretboard on our instruments are in premium condition.
From a sound engineering..nice quality compressor you must have running in the signal chain. It really suits the P90s..!
Great sounds and demo on this guitar - but no word about the extreme hum of these PUs ?

interesting choice. You pick a wall of Fender Strats as background to present a Gibson Les Paul.
But... tune the guitar please :/ Looks blummin awesome though!!!!
Playing an LP in front of a wall of strats 🤭
that´s not a rosewood fretboard !!!
?
Then what the heck is it?
