This is why Sora is the GOAT.
He went all that way, fought all those Heartless, only to find himself needing to sacrifice his own heart to free Kairi, the girl for whom he'd been searching all that time.
And he did it without hesitation. And he smiled, knowing that he'd finally done what he'd come to do: free Kairi.
Kairi: you gave up my life for me that is so sweet of you

Imagine, this is the absolute point in Kingdom Hearts where everything changed. The creation of Roxas and Namine, the link to all of those hurting by Xehanort, Kairi’s light tethering him back from the darkness, the concept of releasing hearts to bring forth the plan to steal others bodies. EVERYTHING that the series would become was brought about by this one boy’s self sacrifice. All the things to love and hate about the complicated connections we make by this one act.
And he does with a smile on his face, cuz he’d do it all over again given the chance.
"But you can't come along looking like that. Understand?"
"No Frowning, No Sad Face, okay?"
"This boat runs on happy faces"
Sora kept Donald's words to his heart and begun his journey without sadness in his face.
Que persona sin sentimientos le daria dislike a esta obra maestra que formo parte de una de las escenas más emblematicas de kingdom hearts 1 y que marco a todos los que lo jugamos. Llore mucho cuando empezo a sonar este tema, la escena es lo que te apuñala a tus recuerdos de todo lo que has vivido junto a sora y la musica es lo que te remata desde el interior de tu corazón
