I was planning to make a tutorial about this stitch as well, I'm currently working on a cardigan design that includes this stitch in it 😄 but the difference is that i knit one stitch after the edge stitch then begin my yarn over.. and when i want to slip, i slip it as if to knit, so the name of the stitch that I'm working on is wavy mesh stitch. On row 1, you Did a YO at the end and therefore inc 1 st that’s why you recognized an error in your st count on row 3. This st patt very tricky to tink! GL!
I like your channel because your lighting and filming are so good. I can clearly see what you're doing and it's really helpful. And your nails always look great too! I just bought the pattern and yarn to make Petite Kints French Market bag, I think the stitches will be similar to what you are showing. I wish you'd cover the content of her video in english so I could see how to start that pattern without having to read captions. Their videos are very nice but hearing while you're working is helpful. And some explanation of what we're doing as we make what looks like a complicated start to the bag would be helpful. Better yet... how about a knit along of that pattern? It would make a great christmas gift, so now would be a great time to get going.

Ive been looking for a holey pattern to make a baby blanket for our up coming girl in Sept. I havent found one that Ive really liked but I love this one! This pattern with a crochet border & Lion Brand Baby's FIrst yarn and Ill say YES :) Thanks for posting this

On the second row there shouldn't be a yo before the edge stitch right? It makes for an increase of one stitch on the overall count
