The Abrams with the reload that is faster than an auto loader, is the weirdest thing I have probably ever seen in top tier. But yeah, it does make sense for Gaijin to nerf the Abrams and keeping the Leopard 2A7 the way it is, although I will say there are some weirdness with the armor of the 2A7 after the update, but at least the German DM53 sabot eats through everything. And I think that it is also the strongest shell currently in the game with 610+ mm of penetration.
@@Pixlerated The 5 second reload is an amazing bonus but in my experience with the Abrams if the map is Urban or in close quarters you’re done for because of the lackluster armor Gaijin gave the Abrams. And in this new update Gaijin removed the ability for Abrams to carry 30 rounds safely as now the ammo starts off being stored in the hull which Gaijin didn’t model the blowout panels for.
Yeah, in all honesty the Abrams actually deserved this nerf, because of how all the other nations struggled and somehow USA in War Thunder didn't have many if really any flaws at all.
I am talking about the way they were before is that they were way too OP, I will admit that the nerf has dropped their win rates a lot, but all they need is another good vehicle and some tuning and they will be fine. But when you take in to consideration of the fact of how strong USA was before in War Thunder, I am not surprised that they got nerfed because from my experience against them, they were really unkillable until recent updates. That is what I meant to say but I just said it in short form. Look at the fact that Germany always struggled and then they got the 2A7, and because of that their win rates went up. Same thing has to happen for USA and they will come back up again.
