The Martins lived at 601 Mountain Drive in Beverly Hills. THIS is not that house. He bought it in 1954 ans it was sold in the mid 70s and torn down around 1995 and replaced by a large concrete home. Maybe maybe maybe Dean owned this at one time but it was not the family home where the kids grew up. Give '601 Mountain Drive' a Goog and you'll see!

It was a huge Cape Cod when they were in residence. More Cottage style on a grand scale. Much homier.
This property has been updated, new inside and out. To call it The Dean Martin Estate is misleading.

So if you are referring to the land, the foundation, the bricks of the walls, it is Dean Martin’s home. The interior certainly is not Dean Martin’s. So, I guess, the more correct title should be “ Dean Martin’s Estate Remodeled!”

The house was his but the present interiors definitely not..they have been worked on..everything is spankingly new inside and out..thoroughly updated!..not a trace of Dean Martin here.

This house was razed and a new mega-modern mansion built on the site at 601 Mountain Ave. After Dean left this house Jeannie lived in it for a few years before it was sold, so there were some modest changes between when he left and when it was sold. But this does look like his
Mountain Rd. home.
Dean Martin deserved this & much more, it’s luxurious but not ostentatious. Mr. Martin was a practical & frugal man, & a Master Entertainer which is why I LUVED him.

Truly truly awful. Modern, tasteless, impersonal, the product of ostentatious and no doubt over paid interior designers, lifeless, soulless and certainly not Dean Martin. Not a whisper of the man, the father, the husband, the artist. He liked to play pool in the evenings, I saw a pool table, that was the only connection to the man that I could muster.
I’m sure that Deana, in the book she wrote, said that their family home had been torn down years ago,
back in the late 6oties picked him up in limo(town car) either vegas or palm springs and took him to LA a number of times--his houses were very modest--he always invited me in--my car had radar jammers but the chp did not use radar til late 70ties so an eye on the rear view mirror was important--once Dean talked the chp officer from giving me a ticket--Dean said it was his fault! Dean avoided the airport as much as possible--he bought i am thinking '67 big T bird with big motor(460),grey in color to not get attention--he could hide in the back seat and sleep--we hauled ass in that baby!!! if the chp came up just back off and they went away....that car could do a 150 mph easily and we did it-hit the cali state line pulling away from a nhp and he turned around at state line,gave up!!-Dean was a very nice man,not full of himself at all...

Jesus what’ve they done to the place. Have you seen pics of it when Dean owned it? The place had class, mahogany, marble, gold. Now it’s just whitewashed with everything tacky and grey. I’m sure it would have sold a lot better being left as it was, probably to a massive Dean Martin fan, imagine being able to sit at the same bar Dean did or listen to records in the same spot. What a shame.

The grays are overdone- especially the exterior color= how to ruin a Tudor Revival house. The interior metal, modern staircase is awful- suited for contemporary condo. Too much furniture for the patios & outdoors in general.
I thought same... and who ever threw up on the outdoor, with the overdone super hip, modern patio stuff missed by a mile too... I thought, is this a patio company staging a sale or a usable backyard? Bizarre..

Dean was the best! GR8 singer, actor and humble man! However, I just can't believe the interior colors in his house were gray, brown, gray, black, gray, white, gray, gray, gray ... Every house THESE DAYS is redone in those same colors. When Dean lived there, beautiful colors were "in"! I just can't believe his house had these colorless rooms in his hey day!
Elvis Presley Dean Martin house has been remolded several times and was painted those colors by the new owners do you think that home has remained the Dean Martin death no it has not. The flat screen tvs prove cuz flat screen tvs was not around in those years and the kitchen has been completey redone and up graded to today's standard. RIP Dean
If I bought Dean Martin's house, I would honor the legend by trying to keep it as authentic to Dean's style and era as possible. Dean's style is more important than anything "modern". Today's cosmetic standards are nothing to brag about - just more expen$ive. P.S. I know the flat screens weren't there when Dean lived there! Duh!

I hate hate hate what they did to this beautiful house. This modern decor and color scheme is so out of place, and oh so tiresome. You see this gray modern trend everywhere, which means only a few years and it will be out of style, too. This is a 30s vintage house, and they ruined it with the modern theme. Yuck.

No Tom Jones bought the house he lived in with Cathy Hawn. Dean moved out of Mountain Dr. in 1969. He and Jeanne were formally divorced 72 or 73. When he and Jeanne reconciled they bought each bought a house in the same neighborhood in Beverly Hills. He died in that house.

This house set on fire in 2016 but it is still in flames thanks to the contents of the cellars.
Looks like they did a renovation but the renovation is not good enough. They need to do more with the windows and stair case they are probably asking a fortune using the name Dean Martin who died over 2 centuries ago. Go back to the drawing board it is very nice but the asking price will determine how nice.
Unfortunately Dean had lost the plot after the death of his Pilot son and his last remaining years consisted of renting as he was no longer earning money from singing and his vast fortune went in to paying ex wives out. This particular house has gone through an extreme make over I would think. All Deans interior furnishings would have been 1980's 90's style and this is clearly not.

He was not paying his first wife anything, he parted from his 2nd wife & she received a payout/off of 6 million dollars which he could easily afford, unsure what his 3rd divorce cost him but I would think it would not have been too grim as they were only married 3 years ... he had adopted her daughter so there would have been money for her.
