I have a basic query about the policy management ... when the Management classes in the policy hierarchy decides the data flow , What is the need of policy set under the domain , and why we have possibility to create unlimited policy set under one domain .
HI - The layers around management classes and policies was created to give customers the ability to have very specific backup /archive policies for different parts of their organization. They also allow ways to create new policies, but not activate them until you are ready to put them into production. www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEQVQ_8.1.7/client/c_mgtc_domain.html gives the best description of why unlimited policy sets.
