I like to think that Jane has such interest in Grunt because she still feels bad about Wrex's death. It is like some kind of redemption lol
Grunt can't die from diseases, he's cool like that and Jane knows it.

I was looking at ME memes to enjoy... and I came across this on my feed. Curiosity might kill a cat, but satisfaction brought it back. This is one interesting way to play Mass Effect.
Taking Miranda to Jacks loyalty mission and vice versa is a must. The banter between them is hilarious. Lets see if the AI agrees.
I’m thinking she went renegade last episode because she was upset she died. Interesting to see what she chooses next time.

I need a time machine so I can see the next episode!! As a HUGE ME fan, this series has genuinely sparked that wonder and enjoyment in me that lost it's sheen over the years. Also a MASSIVE shout out to you DrakeFS. The editing is fantastic, and the added music fits...and I want a list of the music and *sheepishly* wish that some of it was actually in game. The algorithm brought me here, and despite my hundreds of other subscribes, THIS is where I want to be. Thank you!
I'll be in your position soon enough. I accidentally found the first epi and have been binging the vids since earlier today. Very interesting to basically watch the decisions made by Jane herself 😉

And here from the title I was thinking she was continuing with Renegade and going after Jack - she proved me wrong by going Paragon! Kinda sad she still hasn't decided to talk to Joker yet. But oh well. She's definitely curious about Grunt - asked to talk to him twice in two missions! And I love her showing so much faith in Grunt's durability and strength that she chose to bring him into the plague zone over either of the other two humans she left behind... and this is *after* listing "Human, and thus immune to the plague" as one of the reasons she took Zaeed.
I'm glad she brought Miranda to Jack's recruitment mission, that ONE little exchange when Shepard offers to give Jack full access to the Cerberus files sets the mood for their relationship so well.
I agree with everything you stated. My only comment is that it appears Jane is mission focused (understandable) and doesn't see the need for chatting.
@@MrKrispy83 she has a few people she appears to like chatting with, like Grunt, and maybe mordin. I just hope she manages to chat with enough people to get the normandy upgraded intime for the final mission.

stayed up all night to binge your series. This is by far one of the better pieces of YT content that I have watched in a while. Can't wait to see where Jane takes us all, and we will watch your career with great interest.
Ha! AI Jane is supposed to be logical so she brings Grunt a Krogan to the quarantine zone where only aliens get sick. 2 years earlier on Vermier she picked the Calm down response when the response that would deescalate the situation with Wrex was clearly on the table but she knew Ashley was behind him. She just doesn't like Krogan so she picks the worst options with the best intentions so she doesn't seem evil. Very logical haha.

@@brokenlightning the videos ARE awesome. No disagreement. Personally, I feel like the "Calm Down" option was chosen due to an interpretation issue. I work a little bit in the Legal field, and I can totally see how things can be broken down by all parties.... :)

I think Jane was TRYING to reach the Charm option, but wanted to try to calm him down first before going for it. Sadly, it didn't work. As for taking Grunt into the Quarantine Zone... she has faith in him. It's clear she likes him, she's asked to talk to people three times so far, and he was two of them.

All that commentary is amazing. Not just choosing A or B, but choosing a giving us explanations. It doesn't change much in the game, but it give us some character.

What a good time to get into, and play mass effect series, now I get to see this amazing series I wouldn't have otherwise, ain't life funny that way.
I recall Mordin having a conversation where he theorized the plague was an experiment to test genetic diversity in non-humans by seeing which of the infected species were more resistant to the plague.
Maybe the collectors put the plague there to kill all of the non-humans so they could easily swoop in after and kidnap a huge amount of them from Omega. That's all I can think of.
Loving this series so far man. Great concept and execution.

I genuinely hope we get our expectations subverted with Legion where they go super hard about the Geth were innocent angels fighting back against the quarians, only for her to conclude "The geth cannot be trusted. They genocided the quarians long after they were broken as a military power and attacked any vessel that came into Geth space."

Fantastic episode it feels like exploring ME for the first time again.
The reason why the omega plague situation seems to have been brushed under a rug may be because if Shepard wouldn't have been there to assist Mordin, the plague may not have been dispersed. So over time entire Omega may have suffered from it. Making it uninhabitable to the non-human. So in the future it may become a target for collectors as they were collecting humans. But thanks to Shepard this cascading disaster was avoided and not at the moment taken as that big of a concern anymore.

Awesome series, but incredible job blending in what I assume is royalty free music. Each of the videos the music seems to match each scene very well, and fades out appropriately at important dialogue choices. The whole Jack sequence (24:41) is a great example of your use of the music. Keep it up, loving this series!
Thank you for that recognition, the music is really important to me. Good content in all its forms are often defined by great music. I spend a lot of time getting it right, so I appreciate this comment a lot
The only thing that can top this playthrough, is teaching the ai to PLAY mass effect 🤣
So I guess the plot of ME2 is part of the LargeLanguageModel the AI was trained on. Thats great, because it means ME2 will be part of all AI going forward.
The Warden is Space Senator Armstrong. They even sound alike.

I know Im way late, but I think the point of the collector plague is to clear out all the non humans on omega so the collectors can come in for an easy pickup. Love the series!

I think the idea of the plague was to wipe out all non-humans in the district and then harvesting the humans. It would allow them to harvest without being limited to outer colonies and be less noticeable, I think.

Plague would leave only humans left on station which their tech freezes them. then they collect all of them. No other obstacles once the plague finishes off all the aliens

He uses Bing, tried with Google, but it could not properly get into the character.

If I'm not wrong, microsoft (bing) maked a contract with open ai (chatgpt) to use their product and future version.

You’ll want to check the first episode of Mass Effect 1 but I think he said Bing Chat AI is the bot used here.

Since Bing chat only allows 30 turns per conversation, how do you ensure it remembers its previous choices-especially between games-when the conversation is forced to end?
I really, really, really, really long prompt that keeps track of every fine detail.
@@drakefs_ Dang! I’m sure the response time must be increasing with each prompt then. I hope it doesn’t reach a point to where you’ve provided too much information and the bot doesn’t respond with an appropriate/consistent response!
The collectors released the plague to kill all the other inhabitants and make capturing the humans easier omega has been around a long time and most likely has strong defenses killing everyone but the humans on omega also kills the leadership and most of the security force.
