Yeah, it makes me think he was having bad luck when he tries to reach out to Carmen Molina and dance with her. However, the cactus of of all shapes and sizes including the Tall Cactus in the end, seem to get in his way as if they were telling him, “No way, Donald Duck, she is ours and all ours.”
I love this scene from the Three Caballeros, because I like the beat of the music, the cactus dance and my most favorite part of the scene is between 1:56 and 2:17 because of three reasons: the music beat, the tall cactus and I also like when Carmen Molina looks up at the tall cactus smiling at both sides, it makes it feel like she is pleased to dance with the tall cactus as they move back and forth in the background. So, I called the Tall Cactus March because if you think about it they march in place while Carmen moves up and while she makes the tall cactus grow her faces disappears. And every time I this scene, I already start to imagine her with the tall cactus before it gets there.
God bless my late great grandmother. She knew when I was a kid I was crushing on this woman bad. Then I heard the 3 beautiful words come out her mouth, "That's Carmen Molina." Never forgot her name after that! Even now as an adult she still makes me gush.
Was "Jesusita en Chihuahua" ever so much fun?! Disney's animation in "The Three Caballeros" is beyond compare! Can I say I adore the delightful charita, with her smile, lovely costume and gorgeous braids. Gracias for posting this triumph of animation, Edgar NO!

Coco is more Pixar. Disney is now mostly doing remakes and sequels and not really putting effort into their films right now. (I don’t mean that they’re not trying at all, it’s just not their A-Game material) Coco was an excellent film, and was a great representation of not only Mexican culture and people, but their customs and beliefs as well. It was a great gateway for children of this generation to learn about Mexico, much as this film did for its generation.
@@TheSteamLord Ah I see! I had no idea it was more Pixar than Disney. They really did their proper research for that movie, it was so pretty and accurate.
I am disappointed that Donald never got to kiss Carmen Molina, the prettiest one. At least he got to kiss Aurora Miranda and Dora Luz. Damn though why doesn't he try harder to kiss her here?
Elizabeth Alvarado He already did in the Lilongo scene and when he danced with her earlier in the scene just before this. Decades later I wonder how Donald must feel that he never kissed Carmen Molina. Arguably the prettiest of the three. I like how Donald is not totally committed to Daisy and still shows lust to other women like Ariel (I am sad he did not kiss her too).
Disney animators travelled to Latin America, being Brasil and Mexico the most important ones to make this movie. That's why there are Jose Carioca and Pancho Pistolas

Pues como en la vida real
A mi igual, me daba cosa el pobre.

That's weirdly specific but cool
That girl is so beautiful, the actress is Carmen Molina if I'm not mistaken. She and Aurora Miranda ( Yaya) made an exquisite team in this movie
Buen aporte, el tiempo no perdona.
I have loved this scene most in this movie as a child; so nostalgic watching this!!
she is such a beautiful woman... I love the song from that Great movie... beautiful woman... the truth
Even as a little boy, I was enamored by her beauty. Love this movie lol
2:05-2:15 is my favorite part, that bass drum is awesome, and that lady is really beautiful
love her outfit and boots
I like them as well.

+0311apache I crushed on her hard as a kid too. Still find her so sexy and wish there were women like her today
I love her too
I got really sad, because that woman passed away the same year when I turned 3
I always wanted to be as pretty as her 😍
My grandma danced like this when she was young. My sister learned later. So much fun!

At least the picture got two Oscar nominations for best musical score and sound recording. Should had won at least for the score but oh well.

No soy mexicano pero me gusta!
I am not mexican but I love this scene ^_^
As much as I adored the soundtrack in this scene, I always felt bad for Donald at the end because he didn’t get to Carmen Molina on time.😞
In time for what?
To possibly ask her on a date. Those cacti kept getting in his way.
@@RegularInvader what would he have done if he had gotten to her on time?
Cuanta melancolía siento.
Hermosos recuerdos! 🥺❤️🇲🇽
I think it's cool how she manages to turn into a cactus.
I like to Donald was having hullications
Everyone in Mexico can do that
My childhood in this whole movie!
Wonderful work of live action and animation.
It used to disturb me at the end when she turned back into a cactus, but I loved the music and dancing 😂🌵
When I was little it always made me sad she turned back into a cactus.
You can watch it all over again... and Dance.

I am glad you are happy this is on RUclips.
What a girl! She looks good in that outfit! I like the hat on her!
I just love it, the best movie from disney.
Personally, my favorite part was when the long cacti started singing, but my second fave was when they got tall.
2:17
my favorite part at 1:56 to 2;17
Why is this amount of time your favorite part?
@@brandonmendonca3861 Just watch, for yourself.
I still don't get it.
I have remembered for years and finally find it again

There is a lot of strange things in that movie !
Best video on the internet.
My grandmother did this dance when she was young. I wish I could have seen her then. I hear she had a lot of spunk.
Best Disney movie by far :)
Wonderful!
El mejor arreglo de este hermoso tema.
When I was a little kid I was so scared of the cactuses
CForceOne Why were you scared of the cacti?
same lol
Kurisuchris cacti is the plural
This was fun to listen to and the sequence was fun to dance

I don't know what it is but the end of this scene made me sad as a kid😭I don't know
GOON why did the ending make you sad?
Love this movie.
GOD she's sexy in those clothes!! :O I'd ride behind her on my Harley any day!

Well at least he was able to kiss the first two girls before the third one turned him gay with the way she was controlling her cactus army.
Maybe he wanted to impress her with his dancing, first?

late to this but Dora was far and away the prettiest
Do you think Dora Luz puckered up when she kissed him?

Donald Duck shaped cacti. Cute!^^
Se pasaron de lanza 😂😂😂😂
Being danced on by cacti must hurt

Is this an arrangement of an existing traditional song (like "Jalisco, no te rajes") or an original composition?
It's "Jesusita en Chihuahua", a traditional polka that existed before the movie
