Hi ya josa , I enjoyed your enthusiasm and spead of your work. That's a great way to work. With great result. I had to laugh at the first few words you said. Calling your painting awesome! It's not a word used in the UK. But I agree. It's nice to hear a positive tone.I am an artist myself. But unlike you it used to take me ages to finish a painting. But the last 5 years I have changed. Got away from my old style. Sometimes takes me hours. Watching you has certainly made me think. So thank you
To day's talk is exactly what happens to me. If I paint often, I get in the zone and it comes easily. I know, for sure ! I've been off for the last six weeks because of health, and now it's hard to get back ! Loved your talk and today's painting.
you hit home sharing your emotions. I was going through this today. I never really thought about warming up. I sing and know I have to warm up. Thanks now I see it's the same thing.
Was it tough to develop this practice using so many canvases and paint when you didn't have a lot of money? I'm just sitting here imagining how much it costs after having done a couple generous application practices today. Did you use student grade in the past?
Shared this with my Facebook family and followers, hoping you may inspire some of them just as your enthusiasm has inspired me! This is what I posted for them (with a link) "This is an artist I've come to greatly admire. His style is called "Loose Brush" either impressionism or expressionism. He is very approachable and is always willing to share his talent, his philosophy (Some of which I agree with, some I do not), and he shares what he's learned from his mistakes. Enjoy. Follow him on RUclips and tell him I sent you!"

It may be an older vid, but the relevance of what you say is true for every day. And i love the final painting.
Watching you and listening to your words gives me hope and a type of confidence I'm usually lacking. Jose, me estas ayudando mucho.

It takes about 3 weeks to dry to the touch :)

I practice water colour washes daily even if I am working with acrylics or oils; I find it loosens me up
Very true! Watercolor painting does loosen us up!
