Captain Tsubasa 3: Koutei no Chousen (キャプテン翼３ 皇帝の挑戦, or Captain Tsubasa 3: Challenge of Kaiser) is a soccer sim game released in Japan in 1992, based on the Captain Tsubasa series*. It is sort of an RPG since most of the actions are picked from a menu. Unfortunately, the entire game is in Japanese, which I am not familiar with, but I know the commands by heart, so you will not miss much.
*It may rather be an unfamiliar game for those who have never read the manga (Japanese comic) or watched the anime (Japanese cartoon) before, so I will summarize it. The story focuses on a Japanese youth football soccer team and its captain Tsubasa Oozora. The series is characterized by dynamic football moves, often stylish and implausible, so be ready to see many flashy moves and incredible action. At this point, most of the best players from said team have gone abroad into football clubs.
In the Universal Youth Cup semifinal round, Japan plays against the skillful Brazil.

To be honest, this game is GREAT. Just GREAT. It keeps the engine of vol. II with some great improvements. The music is great in this game too. The story is short... Just 21 match... Vol. II had 33 matches...

I like both CT2 on NES and CT3 on SNES. They were both peak of the series and peak of the console creation.
Everything else after these 2 are a disgrace of the series until Rise of Champions.

Recuerdo que no pude conseguir el juego original, solo el pirata que no guardaba el avance, asi que tenia que jugar todo de corrido, en total jugaba creo 64 partidos, con perdidas y ganadas hasta llegar a la final contra Alemania, lo de partidos perdidos era obligatorio que tenias que perder, para al volver a jugar contra el equipo con el que perdiste y te subian tres puntos de nivel. Por supuesto yo hacia tiempo cuando perdia para subir de nivel rapidamente, para pasar el tiempo durante un partido habia un truco que no se si nadie mas sabe, el cual consistia en quedarte parado en las ezquinas y los jugadores del equipo contrario se acercaban pero no aparecia la pantalla de marcaje y el tiempo seguia disminuyendo. Un gran juego la verdad, y ni se diga del Captain Tsubasa 4 que era casi el doble de tamaño, habia mas tiempo y mas selecciones, unas joyas los dos juegos. La musica era y es muy buena.

Espera Captain Tsubasa 4 se caracteriza por su excelente historia, pero la música???? Para mi que el mejor es CT2 que tiene todo bien , le sigue el 3 buenos gráficos, música pero historia a pesar de todo, bastante plana, y por último el 4 que tenia una excelente historia... nada mas

My best friend moved to the US from Japan and when we were kids we would play this game and I never knew what the hell to do since it was in Japanese. And all he would do is go “I don’t know” when I would as him questions. ha ha. He always wanted the upper hand.

Saito FX He was a pain in the ass when it came to playing his Japanese games. And then we would play some Dragon Ball Z fighting game and he would be doing Kamehamehas and he would take a chunk of my energy. And there I was trying to get close to him so I could chip away at his health with 1000 punches. And every time I would ask “How did you do that?” He would just shrug and go “I don’t know...” That mother fucker.... ha ha.

Pero no recuerdo que hacia dupla para el tiro doble. Con quien? El que hacia avance multiple?
Santana (9) tiene el Tiro Espejismo (Mirage Shot) y el avance múltiple (Clone Dribble). Hace dupla con Coimbra para el tiro doble.
Coimbra (10) era el del Tiro Magia/Mach (Mach Shot) y el avance fuerte (como el de Hyuga).
Nei (11) es el del avance invisible (Vanishing Feint).

No, no. Coimbra es exclusivo de los juegos de Tecmo (CT2, CT3, CT4 y CT5) y juega para Flamengo en CT4. Su nombre es referencia al nombre real de Zico.

진짜 게임이 창의력 있고 좋은데 요즘엔 이런 게임이 안나오는거 같네... 이거랑 비슷한 게임이 sfc로 슬램덩크도 이렇게 애니같은 게임이었는데
제가 3편 젤 좋아했는데 곧 나올 ps4용 츠바사가 이때 향수를 그나마 느끼게 해주더라구요. 너무 기대되용

Safe? In my experience, he is terrible, since I don't level anyone up. I think Genzo is more about luck.
Wakabayashi sucks in this game. He's only good in Captain Tsubasa 5.
I prefer use ken , he's more cool, but in the next time I will use genzo to have another experience 🙂.
