First off, great channel name ! Nice capture on the new hospital and the far shots with the clouds in the background were awesome. Thank you so much for the support. Very happy to meet another flyer. Liked and subscribed. Hope all is well. 👍
@davymac3882 the Garrison itself is not a no fly zone, say like airfields. However, flying over camps are all restricted, roads and paths are not that handrails camps and i stick to them areas when flying. I use a app that shows all restricted areas, So yes all camp locations are individually restricted. But as its drones people get excited...you know what I mean...... I can look at google maps and see inside a camp 😊 or sit out side a fence line and take pics all day with a camera...sometimes things just don't make sense 😆😊
@@DronescApe Thanks for replying, I watch a few auditors that use drones, obviously legally but the reactions they get sometimes are unbelievable. Sometimes it is best to try not to interact with the public!
@davymac3882 yep auditors don't do us hobby flyers any favours tbh, I understand why they do it, but it's to get a reaction and the more they keep pushing the more rules will be implemented. I've had a few interactions with the Police on the Garrison when you talk to them and tell them what you are doing lawfully they seem happy enough. I've never filmed an active MOD barracks and never will, but other people who live on the Garrison have, I seem to get the blame when this happens 😆 I do film's on new builds and demolition to remember the history of Catterick.
@@DronescApe The few I do follow is for the photography of the landscape, some of the footage is outstanding, but I know what you mean, some cannot put a conversation together when challenged and it can turn into an uneducated argument. On the other hand I have been away from the UK for over 25 years after working in many places across the country so It is quite surprising when drone footage comes up of a place where I once lived or a building that I once worked on! You do some fantastic footage of Catterick, brings back many happy memories of the 1970's! Good luck for next years flights!
@ i don’t even know what it means but I was filming a commercial for the Cupra on the tank road and had big issues staying outside the line. Saw the hospital on the way and wondered what it was
@gimbalair yep it's getting a bit crazy here tbh but stayed within the road and paths and not going over boundary fence, a lot of moving around to film 😆
Love! Love! Love this! Thank you ❤

Superb footage! Reading the comments I just wondered if the Garrison is a no fly zone? Do they ring fence individual areas/camps?

Piave lines not an issue then?
Didn't fly over Piave lines mate, hand railed the road. same as the complex.
