💖💖💖Mike Campbell - so awesome. With Tom from the very start. He also played with Fleetwood Mac and now has his own band, the Dirty Knobs. Next time you play Petty, also include his short little bit "Titanic". It's on RUclips. You'll love hell outta it.
This song was used in the trailer for the latest GTA game, which pleased me to no end. And you mentioned that feeling of nostalgia, you're so right about that because I actually WAS listening to Tom Petty and Billy Joel during my teens. (It was actually my early teens like freshman/sophomore years, but I "graduated" to the Beatles during my last year and then into college.) Anyway, always up for Tom Petty. How about a later track called "Walls"? It's like a warm hug, and the video is very trippy.
Even though this is considered a solo album Heartbreaker guitarist Mike Campbell and other members of the band are all over the album.Jeff Lynn and George Harrison also were on songs playing and singing! You may also like Mudcrutch Tom Petty and Mike Campbell's previous band!
Great great album ❤. Tom is one of the last Americana artist to emerge after the 60s. I saw him in 1983 and in the early 90s for his Great Wide Open Tour. Great concerts! John Cougar switched to Americana with his Uh-Huh, I like John's Country Rock and Blues Rock era best after 1983.
Mike Campbell has a band hes currently touring with called "The Dirty Knobs". Awesome, incredible band. I've seen them many times. They have a great song called "Fuck That Guy". Please react to that!
This is one of my favorites from the record! I also love the part where he talks on the cd recordings, ‘in fairness to those listening on record or tape, we will take a few moments before side two.’ Try Starlight Into Darknesss, Change The Locks and Swingin’.
Hey, Bizzo---if you like Tom Petty, then you need to listen to The Dirty Knobs. It is Mike Campbell (the Hearbreakers lead guitar player) and his new band. It is the natural and welcomed extension of this music since Tom passed on. Check out a couple here ruclips.net/video/arMSQ6ZupXs/видео.html or ruclips.net/video/lq4edbNa7ek/видео.html among others!
how about "Good To Be King" at the band's 30th anniversary. Barelypostvids channel has a version.
Just trying to show you how their live gigs popped.
Great album, rip Tom
This song is full out sticks and strings. Badass rock!
I miss Tom Petty.

Mike Campbell is the best guitarist ever, in my humble opinion.
@@Debcatawba I would have to put Mark Knopfler just ahead of Mike, but yeah...Mike is totally awesome and I love him.
Tom used to say "don't bore us, get to the chorus" as far as writing. Mike Campbell co-founded write Boys of Summer btw.
*co-WROTE
Such a seriously underrated T,P, song. Love it's hard driving nature.
Some of the heartbreakers appear on this album
The only piano player to keep up with tom would be benmont!
Ready!

I think song this got a big up-hit, with the release of the GTA 6, trailer video.
Biz... the entire Full Moon Fever album is a banger. Check it out,bro... T
Next to a 4 seasons. A ballpark. Playing 1st base. This one out loud at some military base. Oh well, we lost.
You just pick the coolest name you can when you're starting a band
Nice one Biz
