Beautiful but why do so many builders give a huge amount of space to the pool table workout area but cut out the tiniest bedrooms you barely get a twin or dbl bed in and no dressers. Build with some spacious bedrooms thats rediculous

Question from someone living on the other continent. There's a gas cooktop. And there's some stainless steel thing (sheet of steel) right in the middle of it. What that thing and what it's purpose? Is it like just metal plate that heat's up and you can fry something on it? Also I think a pan would be more practical in this case. Or it's just a cover for something underneath it? The speaker says something like "gas cooktop with brittle" - but I've couldn't catch that last word.
Griddle, a spot to grill meat, vegetables, bacon, eggs etc. like a flat grill that gets really hot but no flames touch your food.

Why oh why do they build these beautiful homes soo close to lake, bay, inlet, etc? If that water swells you're house is gonna be in serious trouble and homeowners insurance does NOT cover flooding!! As beautiful as this house is it is way too close for me.
