    Well done video! The coffee scoop kit is very reasonably priced especially because you include the tooling, I love my belt sander I built from your plans, someday I'll send you pictures of the finished product!

    Make a Rivet header tool that size and get nice rounded rivet heads. Heat up the end of that rivet after a few wacks, copper work hardens, and you'll get those nasty splits around the edge Unless you anneal copper. I have a setup similar to that, but I bought one of yours to help support your company. 2X72, still running like a beast.

    just ordered a 2x72 grinder build kit and I’m excited to build it and use it... I may have to upgrade my garage power to run the beast of a 3hp I ordered to power it... but it should be worth it!!

    While the copper and brass are easy to form and hammer texture, does anyone have any tips on forming and hammer texturing the stainless version? I have to hit twice as hard just to get the hammer texture i like out of the stainless scoop and its murder when your making 20 in a row.

      @HouseMadeUS  3 месяца назад

      Apply heat to the stainless and that makes it more malleable

    Hey new subscriber just can from your treadmill motor video. I was wondering if you could use a treadmill motor in reverse to generate power if you hooked it up to a bike. I have a stationary bike and i have figured almost everything out but i don't know how to control the power generation without gears on the bike. I just have an old exercise bike that just uses a friction pad to slow down the flywheel. I would like to be able to turn the resistance up or down on the DC motor to generate more or less power making it easier or harder to Pedal . Any chance you can help with this. Even just the smallest tip to get me in the right direction would be huge.
    Your videos are great keep them coming

      Unfortunately I do not have any info on generating electricity. I just know how to make motors move. 😁

      All good, thanks for the fast reply. From what i understand most treadmill motors can be run backwards to generate DC power. My search continues

      Yes, we offer thinner versions of the plates as well so you can press them with a vise.

      A little hole in the end of the handle for hanging it on a nail would be a great easy upgrade. I’m thinking that this would be a fantastic blacksmith class project.

    The word is AN-vul, not AN-ville. Anvil does NOT rhyme with ant hill.

      @HouseMadeUS Then you disagree with Merriam Webster on-line dictionary and 99% of everyone else on the planet. But -- of course -- that's your choice.

      Ok, here's my final attempt at helping you see rationally. I will not waste my time with you hereafter, no matter what you say. So, yes, you will have the final say, and that should please you.
      First of all, NO ONE is always right, and that certainly includes me, and every human living.
      However, I generally trust experts who know more than me, on a topic. In the "Word business" those authorities include Merriam-Webster, Brittanica and Wikipedia. ALL THREE of those authorities say the preferred pronuciation is AN-vul...and dozens of other lexicological authorities agree with them. Then there's this guy on RUclips with a basically "piddly" following who claims otherwise, and swears he is right. That doesn't take big balls. That takes blindsighted foolishness.
      Sure, you've made some nice projects in your shop, but you will never play with the big boys intellectually, and I pity anyone who is close to you, who has to listen to you tell them you are "RIGHT!" @HouseMadeUS
