For everyone who actually want a specific drill to improve instincts rather than hoping that it will improve in pickup games etc, then I suggest that you do freestyle dribbling for 1 min 10 sec, or a little more if you want. Do it as many times as you want, but it is very tiring, espeically since you are going at match realistic speed. It's all about the intensity. Freestyle dribbling is basically when you dribble around and doing skills without thinking about your next moves. For this of course, you need a foundation and some skills you want to do without thinking about them. Preferably body feints and inside outsides or stepover, nothing too fancy. You can also pass against a wall and as soon as you recieve the ball, do some skills or whatever you want. But remember to do it at a quite high intensity or as fast as you can. Rest 2 minutes between.
My Bro puts so much effort in his videos, and ofc the videos are next level. How does he only have 2k subs??
So true bro, you deserve more subscribers
the best dribblers usually excel in dribbling due to there ball control, decision making, and instincts
