- New tool saves our backs and doubles our power while collecting firewood from the forest! Heavy red oak firewood rounds loaded the easy way! We definitely should have bought this Logrite 2 man log carrier sooner! It is a huge help and back saver when dealing with heavy rounds and logs! Don @OutsidewithScheib you need to get one of these! Thanks to @outdoors-with-Den for letting us come out and collect some beautiful red oak! Be sure to subscribe to @hardworkingmanoutdoors to follow along as we fell some of these trees and process them into firewood!

Thank you Heath and Rachel for helping me with this project, looking forward to it, and thanks Rachel for editing out the part when I fell on my face! Lol
You’re welcome, we’ll be back. Thank you for the help as well.
GREAT REAL LIFE VIDEOS❤️ many people on the tube will just cut out any mistakes or any failures and you keep it in and show us the work around just like we would do it HOME thank you for taking the time to film this❤️❤️🇺🇸
We try to keep it real around here! Thanks for watching
U bowled a 290 with those rounds Rachel. Nice work !
Yeah she did lol. Luckily none of them went into the hole like my pieces.
Ive never seen one of those logrite 2 person carrier's. What an awesome tool when you have a partner helping out
Jack, definitely helps when you have a partner. It really made those big rounds easy.
I've learned the hard way if they're that big and heavy I'll noodle them into quarters because when your back goes out there's no comfortable way of easing it
I’m definitely getting better at learning. In the past I would have just picked all of these up myself.
@hardworkingmanoutdoors at one time in all our lives we've all thought we were 10 feet tall and bullet proof
If i had a wife like you. ...thank God
She’s one of a kind.
Beautiful oak!! I agree with Heath, those rounds need to come out of the root ball wet pit!! Great job!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks David, I still plan on trying to get them out.
You guys hit the jackpot with Den. You got a life time of wood to get. How far is the property from your house. Love the LogRite tool. Unfortunately I’m by myself all the time. Take care guys.
Thanks Dean. Dennis about 12 miles from us! Definitely a lot of wood there to get!
Great video. Thank your wife for helping you. Not many would do that. Keep them coming & I like your new tool.
Thank you, and she is definitely one of a kind!
Oaks like to barber chair be careful 😊😊😊
For sure, thanks for the heads up. I haven’t cut too many oaks yet.
That's a heckuva load of oak.... Sheib would be proud!
For sure, and a lot more to get!
Somebody on you tube should make a mini hydraulic crane for that job. All the best from England, i just love it when you rescue logs.
Nice to have a place to cut firewood
For sure! Thanks Robert.
God lord! Don't want to sound like a knowall, but surely halving those oak rounds would save a potentially disasterous back injury. Great enertainment though. Cheers from HB NZ
They were pretty easy with the log lifting tool. We’ll probably split the bigger ones on the Axis which breaks them down pretty easily.
That's definitely a treasure trove of firewood, I need more friends like that around here, I need more wood to cut and split!!!! As always great video guy, have a great weekend ✌️
Thanks Jack, this should definitely keep us busy for a while!
Nice haul from Dennis’ wood lot. That will definitely make some awesome boiler wood . You found yourselves a pot of gold. Having the right equipment definitely helps as well.
Cheers Woody !!!
Thanks Woody, I’d love to get the tractor and log trailer back there to haul out poles for the Dyna!
Yeah, wet oak isn't balsa, you'll know how heavy it is. At least you have a two person tong. Been there done that. You know what it's like to work alone. Do what you have to and sleep sounder that night. Thanks, Heath and Rachel. Have a great day.
For sure Stephen, thanks!
good video and job. thats a lot of fire wood. the habor f. trailers are good for there price it takes most of 2 days to put them together. i wished they had bigger trailers. take care, be safe and well.
Thank you!
Nice dismount Heath unloading the little trailer😊
Thanks, we almost had a few spills in the mud and brush.
You might want to build a small ramp for the DR trailer so that you can roll the bigger rounds up on and than throw the smaller ones on top.
If they got much bigger that’s probably what we’d do.
I have a log lift I have had since 1970 it has wooden handles
Hank, it definitely helps on the heavier rounds!
👍👍
Heath you need to work on your Grunt picking them up😂 Sheib has it down put! Great score🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
None of these were grunt worthy lol. I’ll do better next time. That two person log lift made the job much easier!
Scheib’s videos are the best. No slight to yours by any means, just luv the Roadside stuff he does.
He is a beast with lifting the big rounds. Thnx…
We love Scheib!
That was a great load and great teamwork with the Logrite!!
Thanks Obie, it definitely helped!
Nice team, fine wood. I usually noodle those big rounds, or split since red oak splits fast ( Fiskars ) for back savings. Congrats on the haul.
Thanks for the tip!
Wow great score! Wood for years there!! The two person lifter works nice👍💪💪👍
Thanks Jeremiah, yes the lifter is great with a partner.
Great job😁
Thank you!
Heath you and Rachel go easy on your backs, too much and you will notice it. Happy Easter 😇
Thanks Brian, Happy Easter.
Many cords of wood there, should keep you busy for some time!👍👍🇺🇸
For sure! Thanks.
What a win. If you're going to be pulling out lots of wood there I reckon you need to look at a capstan winch and/or a log arch.
When you said that the oak was heavy I had a quick look to see how it compares with the ironbark (Eucalyptus tricarpa) that is my most common local tree here. The ironbark is just a tad on the heavy side. If you convert to a mix of imperial and metric terms it goes about 4Tonne per cord (when dry).
Thanks Alan! Good idea, we'll look into that.
Rachel,
You look very nice today.
Yes she does JB.
That oak and maple that Rachel described as being punky around the edges would be Premium Bundle Grade Wood for Joe’s Premium Firewood.
lol, I can’t say you’re wrong. We have met How though and he is a good guy.
Rachel got no problem pick up 🆙 them round up 🆙. Hey 👋 a good logger most of the time can pick - up there own weight in materials. If your sofa logger on U tube hold apple I pad in there hand 🖐 . Hope Heath you can lift half your body weight ! 😮
Leonard, I must be a real logger then. I load more than my body weight which by the way is slowly increasing lol. I’m just trying to save my back a little more as I age. Rachel is definitely one of a kind in the Woodyard!! Love her!
Hey Heath and Rachel. What a score for wood. Sounds like a great long term source. Would the land owner let you bring your tractor over to save your backs even more. Just a thought. Your tractor can lift into your big trailer easily right. Nice work . Beautiful wood. The log-rite tool, what a great way to lift the big ones. You guys have a great vacation in Florida. Happy Easter 🐰🐇.
Thank you! Not sure on the tractor, but we will made do the best we can. We greatly enjoyed Florida, thank you!
Thanks for the great video! I’d say the $1500.00 Honda works great! I do wish you and family a Happy Easter! 🐇🐰🐥👏🙏
Yes it does! Thanks and Happy Easter!
Hi HWW, you must have cracked the wimp on him. Good job sweetie and good job on rolling the logs to. Be safe OK?
Thanks, it’s a lot more fun working together for sure!
Log bowling. Love it
Thanks Jim!
Bend your knees Rachel!!! Your giving me back aches and hernia flashbacks!!!!! pssssstttt... ibuprofen is your friend!(-;
We do our best but it’s tough with rounds!
Log lift is pretty handy 👍
I’m not going to lie, it worked much easier than I expected.
I would poo a little bit unloading that quad😱😱😱
There were some heavy rounds in there for sure.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors I mean backing it down the ramps like you did
Nice haul of wood. Good fun day 👍🏻👍🏻🐰🐰👋👋
Thanks Noell!!!
Have a great trip 👋👋🐰🐰
Good load of work there guys. Fantastic job working together. 🔥🪵
Thanks Mike, it’s definitely easier and more fun working together.
Hey Rachel carry them down to spot before Heath got back with the ATV and trailer. 😊
Yes she did!
That's how it works. Don't miss an opportunity (gift horse in mouth). Right that's a Gold mine for Heath go back every day of the week! ha! I get it, Save America, save the food, save the wood every potential log!! Someone else would say save the trees.. Firewood is ok. It saves my arise in -19F temps, but it's not a really a comfortable heat all at the same time. You need to have 4 humidifiers running in comedy! Those are HUGE logs fellows!
Yes they are Brian! Thanks, the outdoor boiler definitely helps us with comfort over the wood stove.
Nice firewood haul 😊
Thanks!
Nice job you two. Super cool you found such an abundance of wood. Anything to do with wood is a work out. Working at a sawmill to bucking wood up in the woods. If your prepping would for next season for personal use. It’s all hard work. Really enjoy your channel.
Thank you! We did hit the jackpot.
My kind of video...good one!
Thanks James, more to come.
Nice haul guys.
Thanks Kenny!!
Did you get the 'OH Jesus save me' swing on trailer on way back? I saw you throw log far up. Drive slow? Anyway, It's Good Friday, the other half of Christmas! My point is, trailering heavy loads jisn't always easy, if your eyes get bigger than your stomach! :) Happy Easter!
The trailer was good, didn’t even feel the need to tarp it.
Use to work at a chain saw dealer and sell some of those grapple sticks , old tree service guys would call them dummy sticks requires 2 dummies to operate !
Hey now!
Nice wood score ❤
Thanks Jason, now we just need it to dry up and the time to go get it!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors I hear you on the time part.
Wheres the trailer hoist to pick the bigger ones up
I will be putting it back on and trying it out here soon. I’ll do a full review of the trailer.
Sweet loads Heath n Rachel. Too bad they broke the mold after Rachel came into the world. Ya just don't find a HWW that can and will work like she does.👍 Unless you're holding out on us Heath that she came from a mail order catalogue??? 🤔🤣🤔🤣
Come on now Jimbo! lol
Lol, heath gets the log tongs while Rachel has to bend down all the way and use her hands😂😂😂 get that lady some tongs!!!
Jack, I’m an old man, my back only has so many years left in it I have to save them lol. Rachel doesn’t like the tongs as they hurt her wrists.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors lol you're like a year older than me, we're not old yet brother!!!! When we hit 65 we can make that decision. Until then we are just young men 💪
My wife & I were lifting the same size rounds by hand you two were for several days...dropped 25 large red oaks
We're both 66 yrs and our backs were toast at the end of every day
Yall should cut your boiler wood at 16 inches as well maybe minus some ugly stuff and have that segregated that way if you need to sell it you only have some resplits to do plus it's just easier to load 16inch especially for the wife and kids.
We do some at 16 but some at 24”. That way we have a mix depending on who’s loading it up.
can make a review on the atv trailer
Yes I will. It has some neat features.
🎉
Heath you need to change the name of your RUclips channel to “Hard Working Man and his Hard Working Wife!”
Thanks Luis, she is definitely a hard worker and has become part of the channel!
Heath...How much wood does the DR hold...about?
I can get about 1/3rd of a cord of rounds in it on average.
Heath that is a great Logrite tool. Does Logrite offer it with a Rachel or is that separate? 😂
They are separate, Rachel is currently on back order.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors Haha! Happy Easter to the both of you and your family!
Be very careful with lifting those logs I know you’re young and healthy now and superman looks like your brother but I was too now at 65 I can pick up my toolbox anymore and I’ve had seven major back surgeries I did what you were doing except my logs were cast iron😖❤️❤️🇺🇸
We try to be a safe as possible! That’s why we were using the double log rite tool to help ease the burden on our back
🪵🪤👍
Thanks.
Heath, what is the max length that can be split on the Axis?
Right around 24” if I remember correctly.
Heath your lungs 🫁 new a new air filter iiii iiiii can hear 👂 you in the 709 across the Atlantic Ocean 🌊. Rachel watch your back sweetie your the hardest working lady on U tube , Tks God for Rachel her side is higher them Heath . Fun about them guys going to the gym for a work out . Florida good spot for beer 🍺 and GAS ⛽️. the others stuff cost 💲 more there them it cost in the 709 Rachel. 😊
I’m a little out of cardio shape right now that’s for sure.
Harvesters. Not for me after my back surgery them days are gone
We hear that a lot unfortunately.
Hey Heath and Rachel , y’all have hit the mother load . Trying to get caught up on videos . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵
Agreed, thanks Del!
