Thank you Mark, just what I was looking for. I have a 22 degree 4 hybrid and as a mid handy cap player I was wondering whether a 3 would be a useful addition. You've answered my question as I'd rather have the consistency of the 4 than a few extra yards but perhaps not so straight. Much appreciated.
I have a 2 and a 4 hybrid, love them both, and the 2 is capable of 240 yards, but generally they both hit close to the same distance. I am getting better and more consistant with them, my 2 goes average 220 and my 4 goes 200.
Great Review Mark.. I was just about to take the plunge and buy the 3 hybrid 19 degree ..but you've made me think twice .. negligible difference in carry and easier to hit it seems .. extra peak height and spin mean a better chance of holding the green too .. prob is I have a new set of rogues.. 5 iron is also 22 degrees and was getting the 3 hybrid at 19 degrees for better gapping .. 21 handicap so erratic striking to say the least lol .
Hi Karl, thanks for the comment. Going on what you just said I just checked the loft of the Rouge 5 iron and I believe it is 23 degrees with a 38.25" length shaft which is a very powerful and tough club to use, i would advise the no 4 hybrid which is 21 degrees with a 40" shaft which will give you more distance than your 5 irons and be easier to hit and a lot more forgiving than the no 3 hybrid. We sell the Rogue Hybrid click the link www.121golfshop.com/callaway-rogue-golf-hybrid-15255-p.asp as a subscriber to the channel i would give you 6 Callaway Chrome Soft Balls with the hybrid. I hope that helps.
I've used this club a few times now on the course and it's holding up pretty well. Shots are definitely higher and doesn't require as much effort as an iron. It's come through for me in the clutch a few times already. I still plan to use my 4i for a lower shot when necessary.
Hi Mark, it was great review indeed. I have both M4 rescue 22 degree and M4 no 4 iron. I am wondering how I should chose each of them. Your advice would be appreciated.
The loft on the 4 iron is 19.0° and shaft length - 38.88", compared to 22° and shaft length - 40.25"on the hybrid. So the 4 iron would be a more powerful club and produce a slightly lower flight. Depending on your angle of attack the hybrid should be more forgiving and hit a higher flight. It would be worth having a head to head to see which one performs the best. Maybe play with one for a few rounds leaving the other out of the bag and then swap. I hope that helps.
Great review Mark. When it comes to performance in the rough is there much difference in performance between the 3 and 4? I have 5 wood 17.5, 3 hybrid 19 then a gap to my rogue callaway 5 iron at 23. Because I have a 3 hybrid already I’m in 2 minds between adding a 4 crossover iron or replacing my 3 hybrid with a 4 rogue hybrid to match the irons
That extra bit of loft and slightly shorter shaft makes a massive difference in forgiveness and it would produce a higher flight compared to the 5 iron. The 4 hybrid is a great option.

Thanks for the advice Mark .. Much appreciated 👍
I was debating this myself and just ordered a 4H earlier today. Glad I made that choice after watching this video.
