The ENTIRE Fallen album was a masterpiece. Every song. Bring Me To Life Everybodys Fool Going Under Haunted Whisper My Last Breath Imaginary Tourniquet My Immortal Taking Over Me Hello Every song is amazing. Best debut album by anyone ever.
This version of this song has made me cry a couple of times. Now watching your reactions puts a big smile on my face. I feel the same things you express in your reactions. And your joyous ways of expressing yourself adds another layer
I saw them twice in six months on their first headlining tour, and they were doing this as the band version right before they released the rock version to radio (Ben was still with them...). It was actually therapeutic for me, since this was the song that came on the radio as we were leaving the hospital after my grandfather had passed in '04. I couldn't listen to this song for over a decade. Love your reaction Rachel! This "Live At Home" version is still my favorite.
I first heard this song in the 90's and did not speak a Word of English and it bacame my favorite song. I did not understand it but l felt the Emotion and it just wrapped around my heart. I left someone very dear to me back home in México.
The most intriguing part of her voice for me is that shakyness you hear when she changes the pitch within the same note. It has a slow rise/fall effect on your ears and is so FREAKING GOOD
Loooove your reaction and fangirling😂. This song gives me goosebumps for 20 years. Is huuuuuuge and Amy Lee has one of the bests and recognizables voices in music. PS: although the band version is great, i think i prefer the original version from the album.
i saw Evanescense live not that long ago, in the next section over from me(maybe 10ft or a little more away) when this song came on there was people in tears.
I've never seen Evanescence live, just their CDs and videos.. Amy Lee's voice reminds me of two powerful female rockers from the seventies. Ann Wilson of Heart and Annie Haslam of Renaissance. I'm not sure if it's this concert or a different one but her singing "Thoughtless", "What You Want" and "Call Me When You're Sober" are great ones.
I had the privledge of experiencing a very similar moment when me and my daughter got to see Evanescence when they toured with Lindsey Stirling a couple years back. Lost my freaken mind. So good.
Normally I wouldn’t watch a non-first-time reaction video. I made an exception because A.) it’s Amy and Evanescence B.) your intro mentioned super fangirling which I wanted to see. You only mentioned 4 songs from Fallen as your favorites. Gasp!!!!!! The entire album is filled with my favorites! 😅 Seriously, I played my first CD copy too much, more or less burned it out & had to get another one. It’s so hard to believe that album is 20 years old now!
Amy Lee is one of my all-time favorite artists. I absolutely love everything she does. I'd love to hear her and David Draiman collaborate on something together.
My Immortal Would Make u cry and make u calm both at the same time if that makes sense . Goosebumps everytime u listen to her voice . Amy And chester were Just different levels of Vocals and there's no one who can match or replace them
It’s a shame and honestly sad that RUclipsrs only react to Evanescence s music from 2003-2004. I know it set a milestone in rock culture and it paved the way for them to be known, but Amy and her band have evolved so much. If you can take your time to actually do some research on the band and for example if you wanna do some insight on My Immortal, who not try and doing it on a newer performance? They released Synthesis Live in 2018 and Amy is superb on My Immortal being backed by a whole orchestra. It’s there when you see what an artist she is and how much she’s grown and it helps people who have not noticed them in a while or maybe who didn’t even know them get to know their actual value
Broken with Seether is nearly as good of this. This reminds me of my mum. I looked after her for 8 years whilst she had dementia. This song still makes me cry every time I hear it.
Whoever wishes to cover this song needs to generate a strong remark for "I'm so tired of being here ...". If you cover in a band - don't lose the signature of that screaming guitar solo and drum hits. The pain needs to be there when all gel out. My Immortal.
Amy Lee's vocals always cuts deep in the feels... so beauty-full Have you heard their recent stuff like "The Chain", a single from Gears 5? It's more like the oldschool style
It just crushes me thinking of Amy Lee writing this love song to her sister. If I'd lost one of mine, I don't think I could think of anything else the rest of my life.
This song is so special to me because the only good memory of my abusive mother is her singing me to sleep with this song as a toddler than things got bad, she loved Evanescence.
I think she's surprised because it's a concert in Paris and she might not have thought that the French could sing so well in English. We have a reputation for not speaking many foreign languages. 😅 It was 2004, a time when people were still looking more at the show than at their phone.
The genius Amy Lee. One of the greatest female singer/songwriter/performer/storytellers who ever played music. Have you watched or reacted to 'Lost In Paradise'? 🙋♂ ❤
I saw them in 2004 in a venue that had a max of 1100 people. She's one of the only artists I've ever experienced where the recording mutes her power. Hearing her live, especially at that time, was a religious experience.
Just a suggestion... try listening to Floor Jansen when she's singing with Nightwish when she's singing "The Poet And The Pendulum". It can be found on RUclips.
Amy Lee has a voice that is a perfect storm that is not common at all. First off she’s got an amazing voice. However her best ability even more than her voice in my opinion is her exceptional ability to convey emotion and connect to a song and the audience. I definitely get moved by a lot of music but her voice will invoke more emotion than any others
If you can find the self produced album Origin, which might have only been available here in Arknasas when they were still small. I feel like those songs are more raw. The Fallen album took a lot of those songs and did more with them. My Immortal didn't originally have the full band come in like it does in this one.
Amy Lee and Chester Bennington are the voices of a generation that can never be replaced.
I gave you a thumbs down. Because Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland. Kurt Cobain, Lanye Stanley
Absolutely never
@@davidward9737as right as you are, so is OP
@@davidward9737 they were a different generation
@@NathanLucas-l5i they bleed into another, especially Chester Bennington filled in for Stone Temple Pilots after Scott Weiland passed.
"Hello" is my all time favorite song from them. I am glad someone else pointed that one out.
It's so gooooood
The ENTIRE Fallen album was a masterpiece. Every song.
Bring Me To Life
Everybodys Fool
Going Under

Hello
Every song is amazing.
Best debut album by anyone ever.
This version of this song has made me cry a couple of times. Now watching your reactions puts a big smile on my face. I feel the same things you express in your reactions. And your joyous ways of expressing yourself adds another layer
I miss these times. You go to a concert to FEEL. You sing your heart out. You held out lighters and not phones to feel the moment ❤
Thank you for your reaction, the last quelle is awesome. The " Me ah" was special. Great reaction! stay safe! 💯
I saw her live with Lizzy hale. I've never seen so many people crying at a concert. Also you should check out Broken by her and Seether
Most underrated song from Fallen is My Last Breath! That being said, this song always gets me, especially the build up and when the band comes in
100% agreed ! The last chorus with the backing vocals is pure goosebumps !
Everytime a Evanescence song comes up on my phone and i hear Amy voice, she reminds me how good she is and the arrange of style she has 🖤🤘
Saw them 2 weeks ago in Atlantic City, NJ. When she played this I sobbed through the whole song. Phenomenal!!!!
Going Under and Haunted are amazing along with this one! My 3 favorites of Fallen!
YES! This video is from the DVD made in Paris, "Anywhere But Home"!.... The entire gig was magic!!! Their cover was great too! "Thoughtless"
I saw them twice in six months on their first headlining tour, and they were doing this as the band version right before they released the rock version to radio (Ben was still with them...). It was actually therapeutic for me, since this was the song that came on the radio as we were leaving the hospital after my grandfather had passed in '04. As you said: It hit directly in the heart! Can't wait to ear this song on October 15th! Also we need a react to Going Under!
Such an incredible song with such a beautiful voice this song always makes me tear up.
Voice and beauty of an angel
This presentation is one of the most beautiful I have seen.❤ Listen to their performance of "Lithium" live. It's incredibly beautiful too!
The only song that knocks me down emotionally,i cannot stop crying, just my happy memories coming back ❤️
Well you just made my day!!! Amazing reaction ❤
Beautiful song. So happy to see you reacting to this one.
My favourite evanescence song, and I hope it’s your favourite now too. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
This is one of best song from Evanescence and my favorite song❤👍
this reminds me of my grandmother passing in 2020 amazing how it feels like yesterday.
🫂🫂🫂 Rest in peace
This album was one of my favourites the year it came out
I first heard this song in the 90's and did not speak a Word of English and it bacame my favorite song. I did not understand it but l felt the Emotion and it just wrapped around my heart. I left someone very dear to me back home in México.
Best reaction from you ever. Clearly an important song to you.
It absolutely is :) Was on repeat :)
Honestly if I was there at that concert I would just break down and cry my soul out. Such beauty and elegance in her. A generational trasure!
The most intriguing part of her voice for me is that shakyness you hear when she changes the pitch within the same note. It has a slow rise/fall effect on your ears and is so FREAKING GOOD
Jr this is a great way to get a ❤❤
Goosebumps. Just goosebumps.
One of my favourite songs ❤

PS: although the band version is great, i think i prefer the original version from the album.
Wow beautiful song... and the facial excitement had me sitting a bit further back from the screen ha ha :p
This song makes me cry everytime. To top it off, her angelic voice omg
love this version thanks for reacting to it enjoyed it very much.
The moment Amy wanted to hear the crowd sing, I got goosebumps. The audience were awesome in this performance
one of my favourit e songs, i love the lyrics
Love your reaction to this. Have you seen My Heart is Broken? Another great one. Keep it up.
Angelic honestly. Such a great voice it’s unreal.
i saw Evanescense live not that long ago, in the next section over from me(maybe 10ft or a little more away) when this song came on there was people in tears.
I love her your cover of this song Rachel maybe? You can see the goosebumps on Amy Lee arms when she hears the audience singing with her .
Amy is a Goddess. I can’t listen to her without getting goosebumps and falling in love with her all over again. Fan girling with you, Rachel!!
Can’t remember if you have reacted to Going Under on your channel, but I like the official music video, I like the singing underwater scenes.
Not yet!!
I f****** love your reaction Rachel🖤🤘🏿
I've never seen Evanescence live, just their CDs and videos..

One of the few songs that will make me start balling if I'm not ready for it
Daredevil 2003 will always make me remember this band and song. Such an underrated superhero movie
I lost my sister a few years ago, this is her favorite song, I can barely listen to it without crying now
I am waiting for that day when you and Steve T collab :) Keep doing the good work! :)
Normally I wouldn’t watch a non-first-time reaction video. I made an exception because A.) it’s Amy and Evanescence B.) your intro mentioned super fangirling which I wanted to see.

Right the whole album is awesome!!!
Amy Lee is one of my all-time favorite artists. I absolutely love everything she does. I'd love to hear her and David Draiman collaborate on something together.
Their best song fore sure
0:32-0:45- the excitement is SOO DAMN REAL😆😆😁😁
My Immortal Would Make u cry and make u calm both at the same time if that makes sense . Goosebumps everytime u listen to her voice . Amy And chester were Just different levels of Vocals and there's no one who can match or replace them
This is my fav song...thnks for react
My three top female singers. Amy Lee, Anne Wilson from Heart and Floor Jansen of Nightwish. (No particular order) All goddesses of rock.
I have seen them live, and even though the lyrics of this song are heavy for me, like only her voice made me roll a tear down my cheek
I'd love to see you react to Imperfection.
The song really speaks to me and it very rarely gets reacted to.
It’s a shame and honestly sad that RUclipsrs only react to Evanescence s music from 2003-2004.
I know it set a milestone in rock culture and it paved the way for them to be known, but Amy and her band have evolved so much. Evanescence is my second favorite band ever; right behind Queen. And Amy Lee is my favorite female vocalist ever
Shes just so wicked talented!
Whoever wishes to cover this song needs to generate a strong remark for "I'm so tired of being here ...". If you cover in a band - don't lose the signature of that screaming guitar solo and drum hits. The pain needs to be there when all gel out. My Immortal.
Pure talent.
Amazing
Amy Lee's voice still breaks me down to chills at 61
Amy Lee's vocals always cuts deep in the feels... so beauty-full
Have you heard their recent stuff like "The Chain", a single from Gears 5? It's more like the oldschool style
you're pretty. the composition of the song is amazing. such a hauntingly beautiful song
We all felt the same the first time we heard this live version.
Thoughtless (cover by a Evanescence of a Korn's song) could be a good reaction too.
I love this song more than words can ever express. Check out “Lost in Paradise” she has a live performance and a studio one, beautiful
This song always punches me in the gut
I can also recommend their cover of Korns Thoughtless
It just crushes me thinking of Amy Lee writing this love song to her sister. If I'd lost one of mine, I don't think I could think of anything else the rest of my life.
And now imagine to see Evenescence, Halestorm and "the warning" at one concert. That will be nearly too much talent. Life in october in Canada.
Let's do Evanescence
I always cried more during "lithium"
This song is so special to me because the only good memory of my abusive mother is her singing me to sleep with this song as a toddler than things got bad, she loved Evanescence.
I think she's surprised because it's a concert in Paris and she might not have thought that the French could sing so well in English. We have a reputation for not speaking many foreign languages. 😅
It was 2004, a time when people were still looking more at the show than at their phone.
U should check out my heart is broken by evanescence
if you do more of Nightwish, i'm thinking you're gonna fangirl too
amy's voice is unreral angelic
Amy Lee is INCREDIBLE. 40 year old dude here and I LOVE listening to her voice.
Despite the age her voice is getting better and better
She's was definitely a game changer in pop/rock, before her was quite rare to hear a woman sing this genre, Amy Lee is a goddess *bow*
I don't know which songs you've heard, but I would recommend Lost In Paradise and Breathe No More. Keep it metal. \m/
lost in paradise is good too
The genius Amy Lee. One of the greatest female singer/songwriter/performer/storytellers who ever played music. Have you watched or reacted to 'Lost In Paradise'? 🙋♂ ❤
Amy lee❤❤❤
I saw them in 2004 in a venue that had a max of 1100 people. She's one of the only artists I've ever experienced where the recording mutes her power. Hearing her live, especially at that time, was a religious experience.
Every tone of voice that Amy Lee makes is angelic.
Rayactions I don't know if there was already a reaction "spiritbox - jaded". and "bad omens", please !!!
Amy lee is my most favorite idol artist and the rest philippines
When I leave this is the last voice I want to hear.
Just a suggestion... try listening to Floor Jansen when she's singing with Nightwish when she's singing "The Poet And The Pendulum". It can be found on RUclips.
Amy Lee has a voice that is a perfect storm that is not common at all. First off she’s got an amazing voice. I definitely get moved by a lot of music but her voice will invoke more emotion than any others
Amy has such an angelic voice. I want her to sing me to sleep every night.
Me encantan esas huasas reacciones Raquel
We love u

You are STILL a sight to behold…because you are freaking gorgeous! 😍

If you've never seen it, I definitely recommend Amy lee singing with Korn, MTV unplugged, Freak on a leash!
DANGGGG that sounds crazy!
