Thank you Joni! My mom Barbara introduced me to you in the 1970's through your book. She also introduced me to Jesus! She suffered through dementia and is now in heaven. I would have been a puddle on the floor without Jesus during that time. I am not ashamed to say I NEED JESUS!

We all in need prayers...and perhaps your husband's amputation was God's way of amputating something in you that will help you spiritually and in turn, help him in things of the afterlife. We can learn a lot through suffering A LOT. Most times we just want it to go away...and when he lifts that too soon, we may and do miss the lessons that in exchange for comfort? the pain is better. Prayers - let us all do it for each other. A lot of suffering on this end too - for the whole family. For our nation. We Gott stand FIRM and CONFIDENT. Courageous.

He had to have his leg amputated due to cancer. He's quite young, but he's very positive but also real about his amputation, some of his videos may help your husband feel like he's not alone. It's a big change to adapt to as you know. But may God heal and strengthen his body, mind, soul and spirit, and give him the strength in this difficult time. May he comfort him, bring him peace, and use this for his glory in Jesus name, amen ❤

In the providence of God, your videos have popped up in my short video clips. I am in awe of the Lord. Your words are so encouraging! I had brain surgery in 2022 and recovery has been very slow. I have often questioned my faith because I wasn't "healed" instantaneously. It took a little while for it to dawn on me that the Lord wants me to walk out my healing. What a journey this has been! Joni, I still have your books that I read over 30 years ago! They helped me then, and still do now. At 57, I'm disabled but no where near as physically limited as you are - may God continue to bless you. When I wake up and throughout the day, the first thing I do is talk to Jesus. There have been so many times I don't know how I manage without my faith. Jesus has brought so many miracles into my life through talking to and trusting Jesus. He really does answer prayers. I feel shaped and moulded in a soulful way. As if my tenacity is recognised by others. I do hope so. I love Jesus and am so grateful. Prayers for my mental son(28 years old) held up in our place while we are with family. Nearly 2 months now. He needs help. But in Stockton CA there seems to be none. We recently moved from Lodi. Not from Sheriff or police it's a big waiting game. No 5150. He thinks he is fine. He beat my husband his Dad. Who he sees as the enemy. He is not Dad. He calls him just by his name. He has said such terrible things about us 😢prayers please. He was in Santa Barbara but couldn't pay his rent. His landlady said to come get him or she was calling the Police. He had shown a knife to her.
