I cut hair on set of Elvis series 1990. I think Michael St Gerard looked the most like Elvis than any other portrayer including Austin Butler. Michael gave up acting years ago and has been a pastor in Harlem New York for awhile. Millie Perkins played Gladys in that series. She had been in "Wild in the Country" years before as Elvis's girlfriend.

In Britain there were documentaries made in the mid 80's, mid 90's, the 00's and remember watching them then but its SO LONG AGO NOW. Only at the end of 2021 did the BBC and SKY ARTS AIR THEM AGAIN and OH the memories come flooding back. SKY Arts also aired the 68 comeback special. About the ELVIS bio pic due to release in June. How many Rock stars can you name who sang a gospel song in the middle of every performance? When he was referred to as the king, which media gave him, he would say, " I am not the king, Jesus Christ is. Sadly sensationalism wins people over but the real truth seldom is shown.
