  • In this video I go offer my new charging system in my boat. Through lots of research and trial and error I believe I have the most effective way to charge lithium batteries using the boats alternator. My system allows me to charge my 12v batteries that are connected to my 24v Garmin Force Kraken. In this video I mislabeled the Lithium Phosphate batteries as Lithium Ion. This is my mistake and I apologize for the confusion.

@living High, Wild & Free. FYI the Yamaha main engines (Some models) come equipped with a secondary 12 volt auxiliary charge capability. I bet your engine has it. A call into Yamaha tech support will give you the part number & verify. I use this cable to charge my dedicated house battery. The cable is connected under the engine cowling, the wire is run through the same connector as the other cable/fuel line. This cable is than connected directly to your house battery.
