- I was inspired by Woollypea to do this video. I am a woman of my word!! ;-D I hope you get a little relaxation out of this. If anything you get to hear some really pretty bird sounds!!
If you are here for the rain, skip ahead to 13:35
Thank you for watching!!
Thanks so much for keeping me on in the background! The camera I use is an SLR Canon D60 so the mic is built in. It's a pretty wonderful camera though. I was thinking about getting an external mic but I'm not sure if it's necessary. I think I'll keep looking into it! Thank you so much for watching!
I live in Arizona, but I use to live in Georgia. the green, birds, and rain in your video just brought me back to my old home. Thank you.
Hi I'm Elena,an italian girl...your fan!!! I can't speak/write well english but I want to thank you because you are so good to do these video! Bye!!!
I'm going to keep trying to get new places that people aren't use to seeing as well so thank you for the encouraging words!
Actually, I was looking at the 18-200mm again. Does that generaly take good portraits? I've been trying to find one similar for Canon without breaking the bank but that looks to be impossible.
That's absolutely fine! I don't sign into facebook that often but the next time I do, I will be sure to accept! Thanks for adding me Oliver!
Lovely video thank you!
Amazing vid! I love looking earth, explore and decompress...
You are absolutely right! It is very expensive but once you use a good lens after using a cheap one for so long, it's like putting on glasses for the first time! It's amazing the difference of quality. And I've actually never worked with Nikon but after looking into that Macro Lens, I can see why people are so faithful. Very nice! The 200mm too. Nice.
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I typically use my Canon D60 to shoot videos but it's the lens' that you love I'm assuming!
Aww! You beautiful soul! I'm sorry it cut off at the end but I filmed so much that my memory card filled up! Thank you for making my day with your inspiring comments! You deserve lovely things!
Hi Elena! You write English very well! Do not worry! Thank you for watching! I hope you are having a beautiful day!
Oh my goodness, you wonderful wonderful person! *tries hard not to well up..fails* ;) THANK YOU!! This is so beautiful and i lovelovelove every second of it. Thank you :) xx
I love 17:05! That crisp sound just gives me so many tingles. zzzz...it's 5 in the morning...I'm gonna sleep now :)
I am honored! Thank you so much for watching and favoriting! I wish the backyard had more grass but the trees won't allow for it. :-)
I'm going to look into him tonight! Everything you just wrote sounds exactly up my alley though. When I do, I'll let you know what I think! Thank you for the recommendation!
I love your backyard! Very relaxing! There is an author from Florida that writes these funny, crazy books that you'll die laughing if you read them, his name is Carl Hiaasen, he's also a newspaper columninst for the Miami Herald I think. If you've never read anything by him, you've gotta read just one book, they're all centerd in Florida and his character development is amazing and humorous.
You are the sweetest! :)
Florida is AMAZINGLY beautiful lol maybe just not in this particular location. Good video either way.
YEAH!!! Thanks!
Me too doll, me too. :)
I shoot with my SLR actually. It's the Canon D60. But the reason why the depth of field is so shallow in some scenes is because of the lens. I usually use a wide angle but the close up shots are done with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4. Best lens I've ever owned!
I like this so much. The rain around 15:00 is wooonderful. It also has a beautiful look--what camera are you using?
Love! Thumbs up!
What are you shooting the video with? It has a lovely depth of field affect. I use a canon vixia hf 100 for video and Nikon d7000 for stills.
Was it everything you imagined? lol nope!! I'll take you guys some place really pretty soon!
Loved it.
i love it!!!!
Awesome! Thank you so much! :)
this video really is SO COOL! I loved it! I also use it at home as a background while I'm doing stuff. Very relaxing yet not too much so I can stay awake LOL!
I have a question and sorry if you already answered: which camera do you use to film? Quality is amazing but most of all I'm impressed with the sound quality. Are you using an external binaural mic perhaps ?
Thank you
Nikon and Canon both produce excellent stuff. It's once you buy your first lens your "stuck" with that manufacture. Meaning I started out with a Nikon D60 entry level DSLR then got the 18-200, decided I wanted a higher spec, actually saw a Canon I really liked but since I'd already spent so much on the lens it would've cost too much to switch... unless of course you want two cameras! lolz
Very nice!
Good glass is so expensive, I've picked up two nice pieces over the years a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G also Macro, but with enough flexibility to do portrait work. Although most of the time I'd shoot with a Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G just because it's so flexible, being a jack of all trades, but having the obvious down side of being a master of none.
The weather did look pretty intense huh? Florida summers are packed with tropical storms. But it really cools the temperature down so it's nice. Yes! This is real Florida. Unless you live right beside the beach, this is most likely what you see. Not as exciting as the movies! :-)
great video...love it..cool rock
I know you did! I am planning on doing a dedicated nature video to as well but I'm waiting until the 18th to shoot that one! I think you'll like the scenery I find but it's coming love!
Secret garden. 💚💚
Yes, it will get me by, but when compared to the results I get from the 105 it's not as good. Though the 105 needs a little more setup, while the 18-200 you just stand zoom snap. Very good for getting those shots when time is limited. Primes are always the best, I don't like swapping lens, so when out I'm stuck with that lens. If I know I'll have time to prep a shot then 105, if I need to snap fast it's the 18-200, zoom gives so much more freedom at the cost of a little quality.
:-) Thank you Britney! I would but I'm actually listing my house for sale so right now all of my cool stuff is in boxes! I can come up with something though!
:-) I don't mind snakes. I just don't like to be surprised by them. It's sort of terrifying. And the Camera I use is the Canon D60. Perfectly wonderful camera! :-)
thx for the reply, btw your mic is just fine! I don't think you need an external one!
x
has to be my favorite video of all :) i cant stop laughing at you saying "i hope to god theres not snake in here" oh laughed so hard lol but i was wondering what kind of camera do u use? i love how crisp the video is.
What kind of camera are you using
