  • I visited the Pacific Bonsai Museum in Federal Way, Washington this week. I've been here many times, and I still manage to find something new to see. This time it was a sunny day and many of the trees had recent work done on them. Enjoy
There's much more bonsai to see on my Instagram account:

    See you there!

I finally had time to watch this video, I wanted to dedicate time to watch the entire video at once. This tour has renewed my desire to visit the Pacific Bonsai Museum. Thanks

On a typical grey and rainy PNW day, it’s a really neat place to visit. On a sunny day… glorious!

Just had the chance to see this video today. Thank you a lot for making it! I plan visiting this "museum" since I have started on bonsai but never had the chance. It is on my bucket list, hope I can accomplish that. Thanks again, it gave me a little taste of what it is like, and I loved!

We have nothing like this in Liverpool 🇬🇧 nearest is in London😏. The "Gnarly" collection my favourite superb trees so natural looking and what a great idea with the sedum instead of moss, killing two birds here Bonsai and rock garden in one, off to the local garden centre to buy some 👍.

Love this video Jared! I'm kind of in love with that Buttonwood in the beginning. Perhaps it is in one of my pots??? Looks real familiar. Cheers!

It very well may be one of your pots, Rob. There have been more and more American ceramic artists’ pieces showing up with the trees over the last 2 decades since I’ve been visiting the museum. And I’m loving it!

Man i am speechless. I just got into Bonsai about 2 months back and to be honest im not even sure how it happened lol. All i can say is i am hooked. Awesome video brother. I am close to New Orleans and was thinking about taking a class from Guy Guidry. I heard he knows his stuff

Still watching, but was wondering which redwood was the formal upright? I’m guessing coastal, but maybe Giant sequoia? We visited there around 15 or 17 years ago. Loved it then and still do.

It’s been there for quite some time. Opened in 1989 by the Weyerhaeuser Corporation and now operated by a non-profit organization. I’m sure the best is still yet to come!

I would love to have a California Red Wood. We don´t have huges trees like that in my country. It would be so cool if somebody has one theres is 1.5 meters tall.......lol.

Now that I’m further along, same question as to what kind of redwood was Dan’s?

If we search for beauty, we will find it in everything. Even next to one of the busiest freeways on the west coast which also happens to be directly under the traffic pattern of an international airport.
