For anyone interested the drones look very much like the ball turret gun under the WWII Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, you can see it better in the documentary at RUclips by the name of " ball turret gunner - full length film by history channel ", it's about 35 minutes long but you can see the ball turret gun out of the plane at the 11 minutes and 17 seconds into the documentary. If they didn't get the idea of the drones from here it's a big coincidence.
