HORSE MANURE FOR raised GARDEN BEDS: Transforming Horse Manure Into Rich Compost For The Gardens

Today we are composting manure to use in our raised bed gardens. Well more accurately we are using compost of various ages from around the farm to fill a new raised bed garden we started back in 2023. Interestingly we are putting fairly fresh horse manure into the garden without composting it down much as we have plans for still planting certain vegetables in the raised bed so stay tuned to see what!

Nice process, and great thumbnail. Do you ever mix all the compost streams together? What happens to the chicken litter and garden waste?
