I've done my own amateur ghost hunting, with a digital voice recorder, and picked up dozens of voices that I'd didn't hear at the time. Some of the ghost "hype" was promoted by Disney when they owned the ship, but I can attest that some of it is real. One recording from the empty boiler rooms on a private tour picked up "I'm still here, help me." I stopped going onboard because I didn't want anything following me home. Wish I hadn't done this stuff.

QUEEN MARY is old and outdated... ILONG BEACH is stuck with this old ship and if LONG BEACH could get rid of this ship it would've been gone a long time ago..
Long Beach needs to make a boardwalk beside the Queen Mary with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. There has to be another attraction in that area than just the Queen Mary. People would just get bored with her again and she'll go into bankruptcy again!

My husband, mother-in-law and I spent a night on board when the Spruce Goose was housed in the dome. The ship was amazing and the tour was impressive.
I was on ship and was allowed to explore freely and it was definitely a pretty cool experience. Gotta respect and cherish our history.
We went back-and-forth up-and-down that ship looking for ghosts and didn't find not even one. I can't wait to go back. It is a great place to go.

Queen Mary didn't capsize in Hong Kong, that was Queen Elizabeth. She was then scrapped on sight.

that was RMS Queen Elizabeth that capsized in Hong Kong
What??? The queen Mary has been in Long Beach California since 1967. Has never been capsized, you sir no NOTHING about this ship.

“The queen mary is bigger than the titanic”

The Captain that married us looked just like the Captain on the Love Boat TV series too. She is a magical ship. Love that Deco styling.
