Reptile's face model is stunning, they also did him justice by capturing his features well on the character. Also damn, Kelly Hu the face model for both Sindel and Li Mei while also voicing Li Mei and Madam Bo in the game.
She's an MK veteran for sure :) If D'vorah's coming back with Kelly voicing her, that's a hat trick!
I was wondering why I was oddly attracted to Reptile in Story mode, his face model looking like a Tommy Hilfiger model makes complete sense now.

he dos do a lot of motion capture work so it makes sense. I'm surprised they didn't bring in jemma as well as they usually work together.
His sidekick on Gamology, Gemma Nguyen, did tons of stunts for MK1. So cool to see them get in on the action. She was rumored to be the face of some too, but I guess she got bumped by Kelly Hu or something (which I'm sure Gemma doesn't mind).

Quynh and Quan is not the same? Quan is probably a Chinese family name while Quynh is a Vietnamese first name ( and it’s for female). They also have very different meanings
In vietnamese, the letter "q" sounds the same as "w" in english, so her name would be pronounced somewhat like Win Chi

@@iTeacupPandauh the people you see in the video did have their faces scanned for the game for the characters shown. This is something that has been going on for awhile now in game industry.
And it always seems to be the black females lol Jackie in mk11 looked absolutely nothing like her face model. Tanya is actually more accurate comparatively speaking
I would imagine sometimes it comes down to “don’t be too accurate I kinda don’t want my face to be ripped off.” Which is fine I suppose…

Regardless even still some faces are definitely tweaked
This is very common with western female character designs and nerfing Blk women's looks, meanwhile games designed in the East have gorgeous Blk women character designs

The Kitana/Mileena model's look is so captivating... the way you see each photo side by side and see how she could create two opposing characters. You could a scowl in the picture next to Mileena and an earthiness in her face next to the photo of Kitana.

Sean Welsh (I didnt know who he was before this nor did I know the characters were models of actual people at first) is fine asff lmao. I remember seeing him in the game before he removed his mask and being like “Oh I know he fine look at those eyes.” 😂😂

I believe Noah Fleder is one of the best martial artists as well as Hiroyki Sanada. Noel Fleder brings Kenshi''s skills to use the Sentos sword very well with his skills, and luckily Johnny Cage also noticed it when he handed over the Sentos sword to Kenshi as he saved his skin first. I think that if Kenshi had the Sentos in his possession while visiting Johnny Cage in the village, the fight would have ended with fatal consequences for him and Kenshi would have given up. I don''t know, but somehow it feels like Johnny Cage was trying all the time to make Kenshi angry and lose his temper, while Johnny Cage was telling Kenshi at the expense of the Sentos sword, demanding millions from him before he would give up. But luckily Johnny Cage came to his senses and stopped, i don''t know if Kenshi would have hit if this hadn''t happened. but probably Kenshi was seething with rage because he surely knew that Bi Han was running after the Sentos sword and that Johnny Cage couldn''t protect the sword from falling into the wrong hands.
Maybe it's just me but Bi han and Kuai Liang look a little different and the face model looks more like Kuai Liang than Bi han
Yea they're not identical twins so they edit some parts of the face so you can tell the difference

Ana Thu Nguyen is the model for Sindel in MK1. Which is neat cuz that's who will be playing Sindel in the second MK movie.
She is gonna play sindel in the mk2 movie but she isnt the face model for the mk1game.

I pretty sure that Liu Kang's face model is Daniel Dae Kim in MK1, not Youngtax Lee. YoungTax Lee is face model of MK11 Liu Kang.
It's still Lee's face from MK11 being used, just more updated with his physical appearance and animation.

Modeling characters after their voice actors is not such a bad thing. It helps save money rather then giving the characters completely different face models.
