‘Welcome to the 60’s’ (Edna Edition) from Hairspray

The most fun I’ve ever had on a stage was playing Edna Turnblad in a 15 minute segment of Hairspray for a musical showcase I did in 2019…that was the last time I performed in a musical production. The only time to rival my enjoyment on that production is the one I’m in now, in ‘Magic and Music and Mystery Oh My!’, truly grateful to be back in musical theatre; my home. I think Edna Turnblad is one of the greatest roles in musical theatre, but alas, I’m Anglo-Indian and not plus-sized…HOWEVER, I can enact my dreams here for you folks!
