I bought Bubblegum because of his history with Screaming Trees and QOTSA on a whim in 2004. Listened a few times and it sat on my shelf. From 2017 till today (2022) it's constantly in rotation. One of those rare albums I will listen to forver.

The woman is Shelley Brien who later became his wife. Mark mentions in an interview that he and Shelley got together on this tour (which is probably what the looks are about) and the rest is history. That guitar player was sent home as a result. Mark and Shelley were together from 2004 (this tour) until his death.
Almost accurate, the guitar player in the chair is Brett Netson, (Caustic Resin, Built to Spill) and it was a different guitarist that was with Shelley and sent off.
That was his second wife, Shelley Brien. They weren't married in this video. Met during this tour. Her boyfriend at the time was sent home since the sparks flew (as seen in this video) between Mark and Shelley.
