Maybe not so weird? The mug that is Mugman's head holds his soul, and he has a mouth on one of the walls of the mug, so technically his soul liquid goes back to his head where it's supposed to be anyway.

A few seconds. They do tricks to shave milliseconds off their times. But it is a lot of work. I watched a guy show all 5000+ runs he did of Mario 2. It’s insane to think someone played thousands of hour of a game only to beat it in 10 minutes
Have you ever looked into Army%? It's a super funny category using an exploit that allows you to have multiple Mugmen (Mugmans? Help). It's really fun to watch. I believe they've patched this out so anyone who wants to try it would need to downpatch to the "legacy" version, as seen in the video (sorry console players :c). Edit: I'm hearing that it hasn't been patched out? So. If it hasn't then yay, Army% for the console players! If it has then sadge.
Y'know it makes sense as without the final segment of each boss sequence, you're not technically getting any of their contracts like you would normally in normal difficulty, as you literally have to beat them dead and pry those contracts from their cold hands.
@@Hello-sl3oz well in the sense that they lose their souls, their body is practically dead without it, and yeah they don't die die, just their body doesn't do anything without their soul, leaving it a disheveled shell of their former self, so it's a yes and no for them being dead, but a definitely not at all dead if you don't get their contracts at all, and only are until after you defeat the Devil himself if you did collect them all.

I'm 99.99% sure that if you beat all isle bosses (say II1) on simple (which doesn't grant contracts) and go to the Die House, King Dice will tell you that he won't let you through to II2 until you've collected all the soul contracts. He also tells you the after the first time beating a boss on simple. Also also he tells you in his song The Die House, multiple times that he can't let you pass until you bring him the contracts.

I remember when this game came out on switch, i was so excited that i could play it now. I played the game on simple, and my face dropped when king dice wouldnt let me in, because i needed to beat the game on regular lol. Im better at it nowadays. And yes, i beat the game.

you should try getting all s-ranks and p-ranks, it’s really fun to s-rank, basically you fight all the bosses all over again, but on expert (but not get hit, finish under 2:10, use 6 cards and parry 3 times) to p-rank, just beat the run n’ guns without shooting at a single enemy (tip: use smoke dash+super #2 for p-ranks)

I mean, the devs were aware that it was possible to beat the game in 23 minutes on regular mode, so 20 minutes on simple mode, although still impressive, is not that groundbreaking.
Technically you can’t beat the game on simple mode. You can beat all the bosses but you don’t get the soul. So you can’t get into fight king dice and the devil. I made that mistake myself.
At 2:49 I'm pretty sure he could have used the pink object to get extra height and jump over the acorn maker. (Unless you can't do this in old version)
Yeah, you can. You can also use the knockback from a damage to jump over it or you can clip through it with an EX, all this is doable even on current patch

I got cuphead recently and beat all the bosses (except the last two) on simple and didn’t know you have to beat all the bosses on normal to get the soul contracts and now I have to go back and do all the bosses again
@@TetraBitGaming if on that specific version. I think even more fights in regular difficulty have ALOT of those out of bound hitboxes that you exploit to do insane damage and skip more phases. heck in the devil fight you dont even go to hell and just shoot at the side to damage him with no risk.
Fun fact: If you don't do the weapon swap glitch the bombs will actually take longer to kill the boss than just using normal bullets. (BOMBS do more damage then the normal bullets, but their cooldown is long enough to make it so you will end up dealing more damage by using normal bullets.) (In short: bomb only exists to shoot enemies below you. Specifically wally warbles and the robot dude, as none of the other bosses go below you.)

I had a glitch when I first beat cuphead, when I first beat the devil the flag pole ( the one when you beat a boss) didn’t appear neither the sound too, i left the game to see my progress and it was the same as when I beat king dice, I had to beat the devil again, hope you don’t encounter that glitch, and hope it gets removed too
Fun fact in the dijimmi the great boss fight in the second phase you can kill the pillars but if you kill both of them when you can it does more damage in the third phase
Cuphead pours some sort of alcohol into his head in the trailer. Alcohol boosts your energy so it makes sense for mugman to take a big gulp of it before battle.

If you do all bosses in cuphead in simple if your button is grey you can get the simple mode glitch for king dice and devil
Fun fact: if you ex attack with the bomb equipped on plane levels it will shoot a bunch of targeting… magnets???

i beat Celeste in an hour on my 2nd playthrough. The thing is the game isn't too bad once you've already beaten everything
