LOts of Elephant SEals in Northern California Ano Nuevo Island and beach they breed on the beach every year in late Winter and they are massive like mini subs! Great surf spot too

And that isn't a big elephant seal. According to Wikipedia, males typically reach 16 feet and 7,000 lbs. Next time you go to Jaws, make a side trip to Ano Nuevo. They are very impressive animals.
My good friend, Johnny F, Surfing between Scott Creek and Ano.. A half dozen guys out. He jumped in and was paddling out. Bit.. Air Lift, 175 stitches. He never made it out to the lineup. 1980's.

That seal actually looked kinda skinny. Not enough chub if you can see his joints moving so well.
I think the bite grip GoPro shots are better than the tail mounted GoPro shots. Tail shots keep getting drowned out. Although we like seeing you in the shot, the bite gives a better POV.
