Thanks man! This is all sims, using a Lepou LeGion amp sim and a Mesa 4x12/SM57 cab impulse. As usual, you'll have to tweak the settings depending on your guitar/pickups but that should be fairly easy to emulate, or at least it will get you in the ballpark! Check out this video, Ryan does a great job detailing how to get that type of Meshuggah tones, especially for 8-string range lower tunings: ruclips.net/video/wyIzrStYebk/видео.html Cheers!
@@NothingSpherethose strings are 10s right? you have 3 plain strings and you tune that low? isnt the intonation terrible? dont the steings feel like spaghetti? genuinely curious
@@sagey735 It's a 13-56 set. The strings are somewhat soft in terms of tension but sound just right for this kind of music. The intonation is fine on a 25.5" scale length. Cheers!
@@NothingSphere oh now that i take a closer look those are 2 plain strings lol my bad. yeah i personally use a 10.5 14 18 24 36 48 72 set for drop a on a 26.5in scale. thanks for answering
I have that same guitar but my truss rod cover doesnt say esp. thats pretty cool how you’re able to hide the ltd logo the entire time. People might actually think you are playing the american one. I have a set of tosin abasi fishman fluence pickups in mine. Absolutely rocks
You forgot to tape the higher strings
Lol haha
I'm curious about tab for this medley. I can fake it alright but there are a couple riffs i can't seem to get.. cheers!
Basically a perfect cover, mad respect! Must have taken ages to get the timing right
Sounds tight! Great job!
Sounds just like the OG! Killer playing! Any tips for getting a tone like yours here?
Thanks man!
