thank you very much for this video. I have busted 3 water filter pitchers already. Luckily I was always home when they busted & I was able to close the main line immediately. I am looking into solving the problem by putting a pressure reducing valve before the 3 water filters. The manufacturer (Solutherm) of the filters say in the box that the Max water pressure = 125 psi and the Failure test pressure = 350 psi. I doubt that our water pressures are near those levels as we are just a regular house on a regular neighborhood on a regular city. Nevertheless, I am willing to test this pressure reducing valve suggestion on the manufacturer's box before I completely scrap the system & shift to the on-the-kitchen sink water filter system instead of the in-the-pipeline system. Again thank you for this video.

Sorry for our late reply; the failure of the filters can be caused by water hammering. Installing a pressure reducer can reduce this risk, but it will also cause a reduction in flow rate in your system. We rather suggest you to protect the filters using a Water hammer absorber or a non return valve just downstream the filter. Water hammer easely reach high shock pressure even with it water system with low pressure.

@@fabiomalgorani5072 hmm..okay. i wouldnt mind if there is a reduction in the flow rate of my end faucet as long as the pitchers dont break. But thank you for the suggestion on the water hammer absorber. i will look into that also.

What software is this video modeled with?

that fixing ring its very tighten in my case I can't unscrew it...? What I can try

The problem can be caused by oxidation. The fixing ring is just additional component to avoid any movement of the adjust knob; you cna use a wrench even with plastic. Also use a wrench to move the adjust knob. Send picture to cantact@malgorani.it to get further suggestions

@@fabiomalgorani5072 finally I have made it move so have loosen and turned clockwise the adjuster but water pressure is same I am in highest floor so it comes 2.2bar then drops slowly to 1 bar then comes again 2.2 bar and so on...I am supposing that pump is weak on underground floor.
Also should I have a check valve non return valve after water pressure regulator installed or not because I don't have something as that.

@@betimgashi7408 It seems the pressure problem is due to the pumping system, which start to operate once the pressure drops. Regarding the check valve, actually there is no need with such a pressure in the system as the risk of water hammer is extremely low
