16:16 I have a zombie apocalypse storyline I came up with a while back and don't plan on doing anything with it.. A group of chaotic young people find each other while running from hordes of zombies. In my story the zombies were especially weak to this acid stuff they would load reinforced water-guns with and spray at them lol. When the zombie's started taking over everything, all the power was cut off from all areas in the country except one, where all the richies live. It's really dystopian. That area closes off all ways to enter and sets up guards, so that no zombies can get in. (or at least that's the excuse they use, while also forcing everyone they want to to stay outside where it's very unsafe, leaving them to die) Half the time is spent outside the walls where things are.. well, stereotypical apocalypse land, and the other half the time is spent inside the walls, which is *too* perfect. The group stumbles across a crashed spaceship (plot twist?) with vats of green goo stored in it that broke open and flooded the area. The characters find out that this glowing green slime stuff is what causes people to turn into zombies, and that it turns more than just people. They lie and disguise their way (supernatural style) into convincing people to let them into the closed off region where they're actually safe from the zombies, in order to take things into their own hands and spy and investigate what really caused the apocalypse. The rich people have a lot of robot servants and everyone in the area is constantly being watched by agents and their disguised robot companions, but the system is faulty, the entire project was rushed, and the robots actually end up being too dumb to realize that the main characters are infiltrating and finding out too much information. Turns out, aliens are freaking real, and they know how to make zombie juice, and the government wanted so badly to get rid of certain people that they decided to use that to their advantage and let the aliens do their dirty work. The main characters have to find the people who have been working on a cure and stop their work from being stolen from them and protect them from being assassinated, so that the cure can be smuggled outside the walls and back into the places that need it the most. They meet someone who works on robots and wants to help them, and they basically make them into cyborgs to make them more powerful, that way they can survive any time they would be attacked by the robots walking all over the cities. They plan to either convince the aliens to stop giving the zombie juice to the humans, or to help in organizing a revolution against both the government, and the aliens. If you want a plot, you could think about that 🤷♂ v cool vid as always :D
On the owlen debate when I made mine back when they were an UA, I gave mine wings, and arms cuz I visually like that better than hands on the wings for me. I definitely played up other owl aspects like the hundred and eighty degree head turn and whatnot
I made my first dnd character who is an elf warlock who wants to raise the dead all the time but because he is slightly vision impaired and deaf he accidently became a healer. His whole thing is you see a plague doctor you expect him to raise your loved one but no, the loved one is still dead but hey, at least the scab is gone. The mask worsens his vision too but he refuses to take it off, he can only successfully do spells that do not require words or to see but he says it wrong or does it wrong all the time. I cant think of a name tho, havent found one that really has stuck
