Wendy Definitely released a phenomenal Ace of a second mini album and I'm really enjoying every single track because she showed different parts of her voice and range
Red Velvet was my first group from SM and they definitely have such great discography and unique concepts they especially do R&B so well that’s why their also my ult girl group cause even with the members solos and Irene & Seulgi‘s unit for monster you can see how all of them have different sounds but still somehow tie together as Red Velvet like you said them being delicate and soft but still giving power. With Wendy’s 1st mini album her title track like water was more of a ballad song cause we all know how beautiful Wendy’s voice is and how powerful she is as a vocalist so were used to those absolutely beautiful vocals of hers but with this album she said had to fight for more creative direction for this and I’m glad she did cause she got to show a new side of herself cause as much as I love her ballads I can’t wait to see her explore more with her sound and see more of Red Velvet and the members solos😊🩵
Yesssss that's such a good description of the group!! It's the blend of all of them and especially the r&b sound that makes them special! Oof, I'm not even a ballad girly but 'Like Water' gives me chills every time I hear it. Her voice is 😍 I'm excited to hear what she does with this album!
Hiiii sis I very much enjoyed your reaction to the title track. , I hope you can also react to her full album because I know you're gonna love all her bside tracks! This album sounds the REAL Wendy. IT'S HER SOUND. 😍 My RnB queen!!
This is my first time watching one of your videos and I just want to say thank you for loving Wendy and Red Velvet, Queen Khadija! :') All the beautiful things you said about Wendy I deeply appreciate. 💙 I hope to see more Wendy reactions in the future ^_^
I'm Son Seungwan's bitch and I love the song because finally we have a non-ballad release and it's easy listening, but I'm a little underwhelmed with the song. Like it's so radio playable which I appreciate and her voice is heavenly althroughout, but something is missing for me. Even the bridge, after listening to it five times, I still don't remember. All that said, I hope our girl makes money from this so SM gives her another comeback. It's so catchy though and it's currently in my looped playlist, I just don't think it's anything groundbreaking. I wish they release an English version because I think it'd do decent in the west. Song kinda feels like a soundtrack for Lisa Frankenstein haha or CAOS
Honestly, you're totally right. I do like it for that reason, BUT it is very much just... a catchy poppy song. I said it made me think pop-punk, but it really could be any of those Western artists who create this kind of sound. She probably WOULD do really well with an English version!!! I really like it cuz it's an easy listen, but if I were looking for something innovative or mindblowing from her, this wouldn't be it. (I still get chills every time I listen to 'Like Water' for example...)
@KPopwithKhadija yes! Exactly, it's catchy and safe. I was clenching, hoping it'd be something dark like Taeyeon with I Got Love. Happy it isn't awful and I'd still stream, but I'm praying, begging her third mini/first full album is something edgy or RnB. This concept is good for a sophomore album considering her first was a ballad though. And it's so nice seeing her enjoy the stage.
@@KPopwithKhadija Not gonna lie, I'm guilty of "claiming" her myself. Not to mention that she proudly talks about her time here constantly. But no, she's not actually Canadian.
@@KPopwithKhadija I'm with you girl! Even Wendy herself has said she's from Canada. Be THAT girl, and rightfully so! ❤ I'll always see her as Canadian. ^_^ Sending love 💚

Not to be "that guy," but Wendy isn't actually Canadian.
She just lived here for about 4 years.
I'm absolutely going to be "that girl" - I will claim any idol who ever sneezed on Canadian soil!! haha. 😅🤣

@@KPopwithKhadija Mark Lee from NCT and Super M is from Coquitlam, B C.
We can legally claim him.

Oh, we definitely claim MR MORK LEE!!!! And, as a BC girl, I extra extra claim him hahaha
