Love new toys 😁😁😁😁😁😁❤️ you might need a small overhead crane one day haha, also I Cold Blued my lathe and bandsaw surfaces and iv had not one spot of rust plus there a lovely dark color, I probably should start videoing this stuff ☺️

I was in your shoes too. But don’t let the lathe stop your creativity. The lathe is only a tool but you’re the maker! And I pray you get one, but I will say it’ll scare you it has so much power lol.
I’ve been running it on 120v without a bit of issues but it will run on 220v which would be more power. Handled some 8” thick 12” wide hickory blanks I rounded up with no issues.
I am not sure how you stayed so calm. You are awesome. That is one of the sweetest things in the whole universe. Have fun with it and take care.
Will do!
Congratulations on the new Laguna!!! You’ll love it! Very nice bowl as well! Have fun Michael!!

Nice man! I’ve got the 18/36, love it! How do you like your bandsaw? I’ve been eyeing that one… might get it soon.

Finally I got my Laguna, what kind of outlet did you put in for the plug?
It’s a 220v 20amp plug. Had one vertical and one horizontal with a ground for the laguna male end.
That was on mine which has the 3hp upgrade motor though.
wondering what happen to you thought it may have been this.lol
Well this and working in hvac means this time of year is super busy. Add in yard work and living the single life and ain’t much time to go around lol.
I put it together solo just seeing it again in that foam gives me pain
Hahaha yea it was quite a task but doable with one person. Now your back might say different a few days later!
