Hey zen I broke my clavicle in 4 pieces at AVS 2 years ago. No support or help, I had to drive back to Vegas and deal with it for week before I went to the doctor. I’d like to race in Spain after this video bro
Sorry to hear about what happened to you. You could have called 911 and get and ambulance coming to get you - They could have fly you to the nearest trauma center fix your clavicle with surgery and send you home 24h later with at 100k bill all taking care off. Spain health care system is different and this is not related to EUC. If anything happen to you, riding EUC in Europe, you sure are covered and probably won't have to pay a dime and even your hours off work are covered. It is a very different system. We should all move to Spain :)
If you're interested in making a team USA for the 2024 Spain Championship hit me up on Instagram!
every type of racing is handled better outside the US.
If you want race in a circle a couple hundred times or go in a straight line, the US is the place!!
you said it! two laps wooo
Thanks for sharing!! Our American EUC community can always learn from others! I'm 67, and not a racer but we must proceed with wisdom when educating US local and federal agencies.
Absolutely!
Thank you for the video! Spain sure is leading the EU!
It's a great sport to watch.... It's the future... I'm 58 and waiting on my lynx but no racing for me.... But the old biker comes out here and there 😂 😂 😂
Maybe there will be age group divisions in the future, 60+ will be yours to win in a couple years
Thanks for the shout out! Spain has perks and its seems to be the pinnacle of EUC racing at this time - Glad you are part of it.
Boy, that must be some party you had, when you don’t know what wheel you’re riding 🤣👍🏻🏴
😁
That’s definetly without a doubt. Spain is ahead of the game
Truly!
Yea I’ve been thinking the same for a while. When I see you vids the level of organization is like if they have been hosting euc for ten years. It will get there eventually. EUC is still very unheard of here in the states. Racing is the second national sport behind football in spain so theres that too lol
The riding style at 11:06 gives me anxiety!! We all need more practice/training it looks like.
that was from AVS 3 in 2022, we've come a long way since then
@@ZenLee Good to hear, I imagine people's skill will continue to increase as people discover the most effective techniques and training.
What is the legalisation of EUCs in Spain? Are they allowed on roads, how fast can they go, do you need insurance? Any limits to where you can drive them?
They are trying to ban anything above 25km/h until 2027 I think, hope it changes
@@DeathToCockroaches So just another country that is not really interested in going green.. Lots of talk but no action..
@@JonahHax just boomer decisions, it's easier to ban than invest money comprehending it and regulating it that's my take
Interesting perspective. So what's the typical entry fee for a race in Spain, with the paramedics, etc.? BTW, Amped Games (Bentonville) does have at least one ambulance there.
Oh that's good to hear about Amped, that's one race I've never been to, in the videos the track just seems like a circle that isn't well 'groomed' and people slip on it a lot, seen more than 5 crashes there that likely could have been avoided, looks like loose gravel on it or something.
The entree fees range from 15-60euro per person, or you can pay a team entree fee which I think it cheaper.
@@ZenLee Wow, that's inexpensive. I wonder how they can put on such well supported events with low entry fees like that. Very nice.
In general, I agree that the events here are still lacking in many departments but it's still early days.
Here in NZ euc is quite new and ive not seen racing yet but people manage to organize all kinds of other races here, track, and even street, government and authorities and services have there systems for such organized events, my opinions.
The new wheels sure look impressive.
Wishing you nice success and to be well.
thanks Will, have you tried the Lynx?
@@ZenLee not yet.
At my weight 70kg, lunch is on ha.
The 2400wh. In my case an old 84v monster is a easy weight range to throw about like nothing, the 12v solar finds it no problemo to charge at 1.5 amps on even cloudy day. Lynx is at a agile weight I guess, the higher charging amps might require a new solar set up, maybe. Adjustable amps on chargers could be helpful for those on smaller solar. I think I'm 54ish and high speed wheel relaxing ah yip very nice.
I'm finding I can ride all the wheels but it's a spec device to a certain rider, well it can be. Opinions. Depending what the criteria is. Playful, in tune, connected, has its appeal.
Because I ride a 2.4 as the playful size and yip the lynx looks a very exciting wheel.
I heard you didn't cut it out in the quick sand, nor fell off, ha well done.
OK I better fry, Thanks Mr Zen Lee.
Quick question what helmet are you using??
Same question!)))
New Olders Helmet from Brazil. Great helmet with great visibility but not as good protection as a motorcycle helmet.
The racing scene in Spain is by far better than the USA
so we'll see you here 2024?
@@ZenLee I’m planning on it. Big chance I will
I'm glad one more American funds out about europian healthcare
it's amazing here
Sam thing for oak city shred fest. You pay same money but ride on a shity track for one wheels
Well OneWheels are an american thing and obviously they want americans to use american stuff and not china stuff.. But the smart people know EUCs are a lot better than OneWheels..

Great video! I was amazed to see how much race events are going on in Spain, where i'm from we haven't even had one race event 😅
Where are you from?
"Taking it easy"
and dont forget to eat paella, see a bullfight and dance flamenco
I've eaten the Paella and seen the flamenco
How fast do these go??
Waiting for a batch 2 or 3 on the lynx and maybe having a Master Pro v3 shipped from AussiLand , funny how they say the Nazi escaped to Spain but really I think they are all here in the USA operation paper clip.😂
Any Lynx in AussiLand yet?
Hello from Galicia, here in spain, good video
Hello! What is the name of your helmet model?
New olders helmet
Awesome 😎
Thanks 🤗
Easily you can see how much more seriously spain is with their competitions
EUCs races are amazing , its really expansive for racers without sponsor .In the USA distances are crazy , but USA should compared to europe not Spain ,Spain it as one of 50 states of USA .Im from Italy ,Spain is not that far away ,but move from west cost to est cost of USA it all another thing, that s crazy ....and now you re in Spain , you crazy bro, respect 4 you ! Big Zen
Yes, the comparison can stand because there are more races here in the small country of Spain, then the whole entiere US. How is Italy for riding?
@@ZenLee Spain and France are great as country for EUC riders ,in Italy there not a specific law , its not property legal ,only for addicted ,there s a lot amazing place for ride ,even if people look at you as you come from space ,i ride even in swiss for work , I have already received a fine of 270 euros because euc is illegal there, but if you love euc you can't help but use it, any excuse is good
Any where else in Europe?
for racing or touring? I'd like to go to Portugal, France, and Greece
Good info
Glad you think so!
