Zen Lee was at a group ride I participated in a couple years back. Real cool dude. The route for the ride had us rolling up a narrow hill after the sun had set. I hit something I couldn't see. I felt the pedals dip slightly but then I swiveled my hips and snap back into position. "Nice recovery!" I heard on my left. Looked over to see Zen Lee. So yeah, we're basically best friends now

I started riding this may.. the week after I ordered the mten4 they announced the a2. Was very disgruntled however as a backup wheel the mten4 is superior
It sucks. I've been seeing Maribel race. She is awesome!! Sex sells. Market is geared towards men. Which is why Some of the ladies should collaborate with her and vice versa. I mean, Kelly rode with the NYC crew which was epic! Shibby also!! Aubrey definitely has the resources so she can link up and make it happen. Or just show up at a race!! Smh.. just my opinion!!

Great to hear your words on leaperkim. The used sherman Max are really cheap right now. I’m 230lbs and very cautiously have been riding s18. Love cruising on streets at slow speeds(15 to 25 mph) , would an old Sherman be a good way to go if I’m on a budget ?

The Sherman Max is an EXCEPTIONALLY good wheel, if you don't need suspension. If your offroading or have potholes on your route you'll want suspension. My knees and back need the suspension.
Is the helmet now a permanent fixture or can it be removed, eg when taking a shower, eating lunch, sleeping, doing videos, etc? 😂
I keep hitting my head on things, like car trunks, and the helmet is saving me 😆
This is hilarious because I saw this video but didn't realise what it was about because I was watching it with the sound off (hehe). To give her some credit I've seen her do so nice high jumps on a dirt bike track, so she doesn't just ride on roads (which I still enjoy watching). The blue ring around the rim makes me think of the A2 or the EX30 though the wheel sizes seem to be between the A2 and the EX30.

We remember the "contest" you talk about at 20:52, we were in the middle of it, and it was the split point between us and Inmotion, later we cancelled our V13 order and went for a Master Pro, which we still ride today (our 3rd wheel). We still own a V8F which we ride in the office (no joke! the toilets and the coffee machines are a bit far away, hehe).

I feel like if you are not willing to hang a high quality speaker off your EUC... and instead want any speaker within the EUC... your pro con analysis abilities have to be insanely low competence.
Your "how good a wheel is" hinges entirely on if you need to hang a higher quality speaker off of it vs having a lower quality speaker within it. Note that you could strap it on if you wanted to feel the vibrations.
Not to mention that playing music out loud is very costly to others mentally. Noise polution is has insane cost to human time. There is simply literally no reason not to have the speakers right next to your ears.
Don't think its a 168v wheel under that blanket. My bet is an A2 Pro with 1000wh+ with more power, maybe 100v and 2000w motor.
That's entirely why I had to upgrade from the mten4 I was riding it through the beeps my entire commute and fearing the cut out

In my honest opinion the new Lynx progressive spring+oil suspension is the best implementation for euc's

Begode and leaperkim have perfected suspension? What about Kingsong? Still the best jumping wheel is the s22. Also begode has linkage upgrades so I guess they have not perfected it
Perfect suspension for me is the Lynx, but maybe not for jumps. I'm thinking in terms of comfort and cornering. For jumps the rear type of suspension like the S22 is preferable.
Just be careful with using a cable lock out of sight, bolt cutters slice through like butter. Happened to my bike so would never dream of locking my EUC with one. Also enjoyed the vlog style content

Ideal wheel and body weight ratio depends on types of riding. If you are going off-roading, obviously a lighter wheel. A heavier wheel is better on a high speed long range trip.

If you're going to start getting into "scenic" type videos, maybe go see some places maybe even many locals may not have been. The phrase "Rutas de Gran Travesía" is something I've seen in reference to "scenic" areas with trails in Spain. Seems there's a huge biking culture in Spain as well. Thank you for sharing your experiences as well as regional views/sights and observations.

@@EUCvibes You'd be surprised being from Oregon that I haven't seen every place in my state - I became acutely aware of the places I hadn't been when a tech from Colorado Springs (I worked at Intel, he was at...uh...Xircom when it closed down) who was single, debt free, and a very enthusiastic outdoor enthusiast took a transfer to a job here and proceeded to finish off most of the state's interesting stuff in 18 months. Now that I am hopefully retiring for good soon I can finally get to those places for myself - *then* I'm gonna check out the rest of the US. I've been to Europe once as a youth and honestly all the old castles and stuff was cool but for riding about the only place that can beat us is Canada or Mexico. North America is a wonderful array of terrains all within hours of driving distance and I don't need a passport to freely travel the lower 48.
I am interested in guides for California, I have them for OR/WA already - gonna ride 101 the whole length and back first (then maybe tackle the Trans America Trail). :-)
My v12 battery fault after 5000 km ,bms problem or something else ,anyway they told me to take a brand new battery 900 euros in europe , now i got a sherman s ,there not comparison ,all the others wheels are toys in comparison ,it blow my mind

@ZenLee I understand what you're saying, but Let It Ride probably isn't the best representation of the USA EUC race scene. Other events are maturing but admittedly need improvement.

Thank you for the video and promoting respectful riding, it is exactly like that in here too. I have ridden 18K here in my city with super tight regulations. No problems with anyone, I ride fast only if there is no people around. Mostly nobody around :)

There would appear to be rather many riders who might not agree with your opinion as to the ‘perfection’ of the suspension setup in Begode wheels, just sayin’…
What is better? The fork style that's gonna be leaking on your first day jumping?
@@samanderson806 the wheel you seek hasn’t been made yet, the KS 22 is a reasonable jumping wheel for those up to a certain weight, but heavier wheels, not so much. Mike Leahy and co know this. But if people routinely change out their Begode suspension from the get-go, it does suggest that it ain’t as “perfected” as was stated. I don’t see Leaperkim claim anywhere that their wheels are suitable for Jumping, any more than cars with suspension may be reasonably felt to be fit to do jumps, though they’re of course good for bumps in the road surface. The mass of both man and machine must be considered if jumping is your thing, and beyond a certain point basic laws of physics will render the suspension ineffective in soaking up the punishment typically generated when jumping. But if this ain’t the case, make a video demonstrating it with the wheel of your choice, and we can all learn.
Yes, for me perfection is the Lynx suspension, and the Commander Pro is 2nd, but not for jumping.

I would pay to see a youraubsome crash video. I would much rather you or wrong way get the wheel so I can get some honest legit feedback. Or even give it to one of the channels that does good wheel teardowns. But it seems as these EUC companies grow they start to invest more in advertising. And lets be honest youtube influencers are huge for selling these wheels so its just like begode bought the biggest add.
