Thanks for this useful comparison. As got wide feet the Glycerin sounds promising. I’ve got Glycerin 18’s and been pleasantly surprised with the line as when my legs tired I have used them when I’ve done some steady/Tempo runs and they cope well offering cushion but does come back as you pick it up. Tempted to try the 21’s.
@@JPE_DRAEB Almost everyday. Longest was five miles. No pain at all although i replaced sole w carbon ones by Tread Labs. BTW I’m 62😅 and use the 21 exclusively for walking.
It will be interesting to see how the ghost max 2 stacks up because it seems most of the negative for the ghost max here is the responsiveness and with the ghost max 2 it gets the dna loft 3 which is the same as the glycerin 21. The prices are also getting closer to each other.
I have Glycerin 20. Had it now for 2 months! Wow this is the best running shoes I have ever had! Really good shoes. Im impressed by Brooks. Have had HOKA for a long time but they have crappy quality
I have the glycerine 20 2E, and my feet are wide. right foot is wider and these shoes are driving me CRAZY! I can feel the sides of the right shoe touching the center of my foot and it's very annoying. Going to buy the max 4e today!
I’ve just brought the Ghost Max for London marathon. I’m surprised the Glycerin 21 is lighter 😳 I have the Glycerin 20 and they feel like diving boots compared to my Ghost Max. Maybe they dropped some weight from the previous version?
i have a 10km race coming up, currently are using brooks ghost max for training in, but wondering if i should opt for a shoe with a faster ride, got any reccomendations on the brooks line? Would the ghost max be ok? or should i opt for glycerin or even hyperion etc. I have been looking at saucony endo Speed 4's but still not sure.
Honestly the Ghost Max are great daily trainers. Forgiving, pretty responsive, and not crazy expensive.

Bought these two pairs and returned ghost max, glycerin 21's cushioning is much better.
What about for walking?
@@JPE_DRAEBperfect for walking! Currently vacationing overseas for 3 weeks now and only brought my 21.
@@UWI-Anna Thank you for responding. Have you taking long walks in them? How did your feet feel afterwards?

@@UWI-Anna Do you have flat feet? Just asking about the Carbon insoles? I have normal to high arches not sure if I need insoles or do I? LOL

Would you spend the money on the 21's if you can get the 20's for under $100?
Honestly I possess the Ghost Max and I really like them. Despite the price I also prefer lower drop for my runs. 10 or 12 is too much for me
What does the Lower and High drop mean?
@@JPE_DRAEBthe height of heel to forefoot
The Max seems like more of a casual, knock about shoe.
Which one for walking?

Which of these would be best for a 55k road ultra?
If the Glycerin 20 is 38 heel/28 forefoot...then the 21 must actually be 40/30?

i weigh 220 pounds which shoe do u recommend ghost max or glycerin i already got adrenaline gts my claves are hurting when i start to run
You should try the new balance 1080 v13 they have helped my legs and feet so much.
Glycerin more versatile.
Are you guys actively avoiding the pro 4? Ha ha I need to know if I'm buying the endorphin pro 4 or alphafly 3 this week and you just won't post it!!!
We have a first run video up, but are waiting on Tom to get the shoe before we do our full review as he was such a big fan of the Pro 3.
@@TheRunTesters you guys are so wonderful, I won't make a purchase without your input!
